Am I the only one who thinks Toy Story 4 isn't as good as the previous films ?

It's not a bad movie by any means, it does have a lot of good stuff in it.

But it's not as good as the earlier Toy Story films, which did a much better job of telling the story that's established in this movie, it's more like a rehash of the previous three.

The Woody and Bo Peep storylines are very good, we get a backstory of the events that happened to her before Toy Story 3 and the transition from Andy to Bonnie (the girl who owns the toys right now) was excellent.

But then it goes into the : "New character Forky who doesn't know that he's a toy but replaces Woody as Bonnie's favorite toy" then they get lost on a road trip and Buzz and the gang have to save them whiich is what they've already done in the past.

Then they try to connect the Bo Peep storyline introduced earlier with the Forky thing and it doesn't work because then Buzz Lightyear and the others hardly have anything to do.

The other new characters Ducky and Bunny, Duke Caboom and Giggle McDimples were great additions to the story but the problem is when they add them to the already existing plot with the Woody, Bo Peep, Buzz and Forky thing.

Had they eliminated Forky and made it about trying to get Bo Peep back, that would've been more effective.

Don’t worry the box office also agrees.
