I'm not using a weak day kill on an unclaimed role. I'd personally avoid using them myself, as scum may be able to quick hammer certain users as touched upon. I'd probably wait until a player had info claimed on them, or later on in the game if it was fairly clear two scummy players weren't linked to help work that out.

Yes I would prefer people used them as basically a duel (but when people actually use a duel intelligently, which is extremely rare). To kill someone we are very confident is scum and free up the lynch for other purposes.
