Not really, just that angles aren't really important for this show and they wanted that match to have one representative from each company on each side. I'm sure NJPW will maybe use it to further some kinda Okada/Ishii/Tanahashi stuff leading up though, ishii will be all like "you can't trust him he's fighting you"

Yeah I was about to say they did so that was you have three on each from each, and it would be the top stars/aces of each company so

Yeah, the NOAH and AJPW splits make sense. Though Kento and Yuma is more akin to frenemies, they are rivals, but they respect each other.

I actually say that fits the Tanahashi/Okada angle well too currently, they've just slowly became more and more friendly the last couple years lol

Honestly, I am hoping this builds up the Okada and Kaito feud more and more, then when they do another joint show Kaito has reached his Ace status and beats Okada

I hope he does, full heel Okada is what NJPW needs. Ospray is pretty much a face now anyways and that story makes a lot more sense told that way when Will beat Omega on his way to beat Okada at this years WK
