I'm in the mood for a good new War movie, I hope this ends up being as enjoyable as it looks from the trailer
Hopefully it's just as good as the 1930 and 1979 versions.
Almost certain I haven't seen the 1979 version myself
Iirc the 1979 version is more faithful to the book
In fact, it's actually free on YouTube right now.
History in School for me was always my favorite no matter the Time period. You can put on a Doc from The History Channel and I would stop what I was doing and sit near the TV loving what I was watching.
The last Trailer was freaking great and this one is amazing. You have to be brave now for the ones that didn't make it
This is getting very good reviews so far and all the trailers have looked great. Fair to say I'm pretty hyped for it.
Best War movie I've seen since Saving Private Ryan. You really feel like you are in the trenches with them, it's incredibly engrossing and immersive. I was very impressed with the sound design and visuals a lot. Performances were amazing, they do a fantastic job with the character development too.
Have you seen 1917?
Yup, that's an amazing movie too. Love the soundtrack by Thomas Newman.
So this one was better than 1917 in your opinion? I might give it watch some evening next week then.
