In Canada well Western Canada, we say buddy before insulting you so it's like "I'm not insulting you as a stranger, but personally, as a friend" and yea we do this as complete strangers. somehwhat respectful and it hits you more personally

and hey sharpshooter, you need to post better buddy

Same here in Chicago, it's really annoying. Especially one time before I went to catch the train to go see Paramore downtown, my friend and I went over to the Dunkin Donuts by the station and the guy said "You want this buddy? Or you want that buddy?"

They have such nice lingo... speaking of lingo, hey C4, will you be on the show Outsourced on NBC?
