Only ever watched NJPW as far as Puro goes, but I wouldn't be opposed to trying some All Japan some time soon I guess.

One newbie:

Both are must-watch, obv.

Thanks, man. I'll come around to watching these when I get the time. Btw, those 1/3 cards you were talking about there are going to be available online or something? I won't be doing nothing in January so Puro can't hurt.

It's hard to come around full AJPW shows. NJPW gets most the exposure on the torrent sites and wresting sites like WatchWrestling, but I'll keep an eye out to find a recent and full show.

What Clown said. Real Hero uploads full shows on DM. It's fairly easy to get All Japan. If you can find NOAH you can find All Japan

Rewatched this for my Best of 2014 purposes:

This is better than any New Japan '14 match except for Naka/Tana from Invasion Attack. Matter fact, if I were to compile Top 5 RWTL matches ever, this one would most likely crack the list. Sublime stuff.

New Japan Pro Wrestling is superior to All Japan Pro Wrestling. NJPW has the better booking, the better talent, it features a streaming site, and a TV deal in the United States. All Japan has none of those things going for it.

NJPW has had success in America selling out its July shows while All Japan has never toured in the states. All Japan has been in a dismal state for twenty years and its still rebuilding 'til this very day while New Japan is a multi-million dollar company and is the hottest show in town.

According to Chris Harrington, the co-host of the Wrestlenomics podcast, last year New Japan made around $28 million and it could make $35 million this year. All Japan doesn't make one-tenth that amount of money. Attendance for NJPW's Wrestle Kingdom 9 was 36,000 fans. All Japan is lucky to attract 1,000 fans to its shows.
