Earlier in the promo she was just looking all over the place, then on this part the camera is zoomed in and with her looking down to the side all the time it was clipped out of context.

I don't feel like that debunks anything.

I saw the full video and yeah, she was looking around, but for her to be looking repeatedly in this one specific direction and struggling her way through the lines, I still get the impression that this was a scripted portion of the promo that they wanted her to get exact, and this was the result.

But at the end of the day, none of us can say for certain. All I do know is that was a pretty rough way to bring that promo home and hopefully she can show some development as she gets more reps.

Basically no actual promos on air but they do have promo classes from what we know so ehhh. In fairness to her, even "good" WWE promos these days don't really blow anyone away.

WWE even scripts what the interviewers say (it was in that leaked Smackdown script not long ago) because they're a decrepit, synthetic, awful promotion run by human tumours, so I'll always blame them for scripting things to this degree in the first place. While it was a simple promo that she shouldn't have forgotten the lines of, I'd almost never blame a wrestler for this kind of thing by now because the idea shouldn't be in their head to rehearse especially 12 seconds worth of "lines."

I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and say that nerves got the better of her. It doesn’t even seem that bad or noticeable until pointed out.
