The now former Aleister Black (Tommy End) took to Twitch this afternoon to discuss his WWE release, Vince McMahon, and other subjects.

On the hour-long stream, Black said that he was told that budget cuts were the reason for his release. He said that the last few years were like a “slow death” for the Aleister Black character, but would always be pitching ideas. He was excited for the ‘Dark Father’ storyline that had been playing out on TV for the last month, which culminated in an attack on Big E nearly two weeks ago on SmackDown, which was his final WWE appearance.

Regarding Vince McMahon, Black recalled having positive conversations with him.

“Being on the main roster, in all my conversations with Vince, he was always positive,” Black said. “I had a good relationship with Vince. I always told him how I felt and he respected that about me. He always praised me on my creativity and manners of respect but being honest about how I felt. From my point of view, I always felt Vince was always high on me. ”

Regarding WWE’s creative process, he asked for people not to get mad at them. “Creative tries their absolute hardest, and there are good people working there” he said.

Others he thanked include Triple H, Bruce Britchard, Paul Heyman, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Rowan, and Brodie Lee for what they did for him. He also said that Roman Reigns was one of the best locker room leaders he has ever been around.

At one point during the stream, he addressed various reports made about him during his WWE run. Black said that reports of him asking to be sent to NXT being shut down were not true, and were in fact praised. However, Vince wanted to see how his character went first before going back to NXT. He said reports that Vince were never high on the Black character were also not true, though he did say that the seven months being at home "murdered" him.

Towards the end of the stream, he mentioned that he had just created new music for the new character and thought it was the best song he’s had.
WWE thus far have released six people today from their contracts, including Black, Braun Strowman, Lana, Murphy, Ruby Riott, and Santana Garrett.

This makes me realize I’m not going crazy. Everyone kept saying he kicked Kevin Owens and I was in my mind like “Wasn’t it Big E?” But I ain’t wanna say anything and look stupid

Aleister Black joins RoH becomes past of Violence Unlimited, and then him and Brody King make an album together...also like how his statement is different from Wolfe's and some of the others who were bitter, I guess you can say.

I can’t believe that they used the old budget cut excuse, but, are bringing back fucking shit like Eva Marie. Cut her fucking useless ass then.

It’s good for these guys, though, they can go somewhere else where they won’t be wasted.

Guy seemed pretty relaxed and respectful from all the stuff i've read. Definitely keeping them bridges intact for a return in the future.

he said somethign along the lines of "there's always going to be things you don't like or agree with in life, but there's no point in focusing on the negativity like that"

This is how you handle this sort of shit. Not all of this "can't wait for my 90-day to expire so I can blast WWE" nonsense.

Not that they weren't interested in him already, but this sort of demeanour only makes other promotions more interested in him - he looks like a good locker room guy,.

Yeah the dude just came off super calm, intelligent and understanding of the situation. He's obviously disappointed, but he knows how to handle his business, clearly. Guy will be a star and like you said, a good lockerroom guy wherever he ends up (hopefully AEW for me ofc)

He 100% goes to AEW, they'd kill for him and they give him the best balance of fame and quality opponents.

If we are still talking about Braun I agree. TK would be an idiot not to throw money at him. I know there's the whole "aew shouldn't sign all wwe guys" but fuck that, when stars are available, if you think they can help you, you sign them and you don't give 2 shits where they worked prior or perceptions.

I can't believe we live in a weird reality where Braun Strowman, Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe and Tommy End could all realistically show up by September in a notherpromotion. what a time to be alive. specualtion gonna go wild till then

edit: wrong thread lol, this is the aleister thread. But the same point applies, you'd be an absolute fool not to sign Tommy End the second he's available. He's a perfect fit for AEW, as they dont have a serious dark gimmick. If you ever want to turn Dark Order serious (i wouldnt it as i think its brodies faction for life now) , he'd be a natural leader there too

During his appearance on Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions podcast, Tommy End (formerly known as Aleister Black) discussed how he reacted to WWE releasing Zelina Vega: “Mind you, they let my wife go, under reasons that are questionable. Everything got sorted out, everything is fine, everything was okay. But they called me and they’re like, ‘We understand this is putting you in a tough spot.’ I said, ‘No, this is my career. Spoke about it with her, and this is business between you and her. Does Tom, her husband, have an opinion on it? Sure he does. Does Aleister Black the professional? Nope. He’s ready to go to work. All I want to do is work, all I want to do is create, all I want to do is present.’ And you know, she agreed.”

Bruh they really fired this man? Man I hope he ends up having a helluva career
