AJ Styles is used to putting on entertaining matches at WWE live events, but what he's not used to is getting robbed while he's doing it.

Styles was with the Smackdown Live roster in Jonesboro for a live house show, and according to Region 8 News in Arkansas (via IWNerd), he was the victim of a robbery the same night. At some point, while he was out in front of the crowd someone stole his black bag from his dressing area.

Wrestlers travel constantly, so they typically keep a number of things on hand as they bounce from show to show. This was, unfortunately, the case for Styles, who listed what was in the bag when he reported the theft. The thieves made off with American and Japaneanese currency, an iPhone, and Xbox with multiple games, headphones, and a small TV.

Authorities are still looking for the culprit or culprits at this time, so any information about the incident is appreciated by Jonesboro authorities.

WWE: Smackdown Live Superstar Robbed At Live Event

I guess he was actually robbed at a live event. The champ that runs the camp can't stop robbers.

Saw this on reddit but was reluctant to post because it was a pretty serious issue. I wouldn't expect this to happen at a WWE event I would assume they'd have pretty good security. How could a random get Backstage? Was it someone already backstage? Local helper? Why did he have 7000 yen on him? So many questions. Hopefully the police are able to recover his shit and arrest the robber who stole from the jobber...I'm sorry...

Why did he have 7000 yen on him?

That's actually a question I'd love to have an answer too... and did the guy still the yen? Cause that would only be about $74. I guess I could just read the article but if I did, then I wouldn't have anything to post to this thread.

The article isn't clear on whether or not it's 7000 yen ( 60 USD ) or $ 7000 worth of yen. I'd assume the former because why would he be hauling around 800,000 yen in America?
