Yeah that's what i've seen too. That injury he suffered + the Cena retirement tour probably threw a big ol' wrench into the plans since he's said he wants to retire in the WWE.

Cena gone this year, AJ potentially next year, Owens out indefinitely...

People close to AJ say that he signed a 1 year extension. Don't know when it goes into effect or when it expires.
