Redwater Distillery: Starbuck's Thread [All Welcome]

It was an average day for me, yeah,
I woke up in the young and early morning,
Wasn't ready for what was to come and be, no,
Wish I was given a fair and even warning,

'Cause then all of a sudden things changed for me,
I was lifted from the ground and I was able to see,
Everybody come to believe the believer of beliefs,
Through the red eyes of high, independent hippie chiefs,

You see I smoked a doobie when I got off work,
And came home to a lady who had a gherkin to jerk,
And after jerkin' the gherkin' and a long day of workin',
I thought it would be nice to go online and hit a bong, too...

[ Formerly known as "Ain't quite the blues, no, hmm... I'm feelin' them reds...", but changed just 'cause. ]

Thanks, I'm glad you guys enjoyed this, haha. I also encourage anybody else to throw in their own rhymes, blitzed or bloated, influenced by a beat or rhythm. Definitely do it high. I listen to a lot of jam bands like the Allman Bros Band and the Grateful Dead.

I'm not supposed to just verbally put down lyrics due to my contract.

If that restricts you from accessing some of your freedom in creativity, you should negotiate with the one you signed the contract for.

This isn't me, not what I've become,
I've found myself to be sitting comfortably numb,
call me a backyard alien, I'm somwehere I don't belong,
outer space bail me in, Starbuck play us a song,

haven't seen my lady since July,
I think about her often and I...
wonder if she feels the same way I do,
hopefully things will smooth out and soon pull through

with every new morning comes a new day,
not letting my last chance go floating away,
don't need what i have, but i'll have what i need,
it it comes, it does go,
ponder the question, i'm still layin' low,
is she coming back? i don't know,
i didn't have to ask, it's probably no,

another new day and another new morning,
the wind starts to whisper and scream without warning,
i catch my last chance from going away,
i have done something but what can i say?
i have what i need while she needs what i have,
i found the answer and its broken in half,
put back together the pieces,
let the time heal the wounds,
and i'll just try not to speak so soon,
so leave me be, all alone here,
and let it be, for hundreds of years,

gypsy coast pt. iv

it's a rainy day here at the gypsy coast,
and i seem to come here more often than most,
it doesn't even really matter that there's overcast,
and God knows I don't care there's no bowl to blast,

i'm looking for a soul refined,
something that purity defines,
i'd really like to clear my head,
and dream again when i'm to bed,

consciousness left me while ago,
or maybe i'm love-sick, i don't know,
every rain drop gets wiped away,
cleanliness is here and it's here to stay,

when the past is ready to catch up to you,
and your memory runs all the moments through,
i'd like to sit back and think to times like these,
where i felt salvation without praying or getting on my knees,

but when the road ahead starts to wind,
i'll slow my pace and look inside my mind,
find the reasons, answers the questions,
and leave myself with nothing more to mention

gypsy coast pt. iii

a warm ass day at gypsy coast,
i'm running from the sea and i'm feelin' like toast,
another trip on down the boardwalk,
left my mind behind because i can't talk,

i don't know why i come here so much,
maybe i'm a gypsy, i seem to roam as such,
i don't call no place home because i'm just me,
and myself and i'm all alone,

everyday i'm going to gypsy coast,
just need music and a bit of nature,
smoke the herb and stare into the sky,
and truth conquers, lady, lie by lie,
