Great news for AEW and for the wrestling industry as a whole, love to see it.

So they only had a seasonal deal in the first place?

I figured they were picked up for at least 3-4 years to begin with.

This just helps prove that TNT is happy with the numbers that AEW are putting out, which I'm so happy for. They can keep doing what they are doing, and hopefully over time can build a fan base. Got to hit something just right and get a huge story to get people talking. They got time. Great news.

This is great news for AEW, but like Deezy I'm a little surprised they didn't already have a longer deal in place. Probably a smart move on TNT's part to take a short one like that at first.

Agreed with it being a smart move. You don't want to really throw a big contract at something new. Even then the new contract isn't too long, but it's surely good enough to show what they can do in that time to build up the brand. So I hope they impress even more in the next few years and can maybe get a great deal later on, Balls in their court to show what they got.

Nice to see they've got an extension. I just hope they keep up a good pace, I have noticed some WWE elements making it on to the show lately, I would rather they stay away from that shit....also, a lot of spotfests, they really need to work on that, too. Still better than WWE in general, though, imo.

Absolutely agree with this part. Like in the tag match on Dynamite (which I did really enjoy) they had that bit where the Young Bucks hit about 20 superkicks in two minutes and it just seems so pointless.

Sad that the superkick just became an every day move now that almost everyone does. I remember when I watched WK last year, and the Bucks hit like only 2 or 3 in the match. I was way off on my guess of like 15. Like, I really need them to calm down on stuff like that, as well as so many damn dives.

Good news for both, TNT could have extended it a little bit further but I guess they want to see more and while I still believe that AEW is still in its growing pains, it's been barely a year so I can still give it a pass but they have to get their shit together and not falter.
