That chemistry was so good there I wouldn’t mind a Best of seven series. Allow hanger to get a couple wins on White, but ultimately at the end of it switchblade is elevated to the top.

And hanger who’s already been to the top can return.

Honestly that could have been fun and I do like the story of Hangman not being able to beat White without help. Honestly this would have been a better outcome for me than where it goes next

I wanted to see the United empire in AEW, but it was becoming increasingly more obvious that AEW wasn’t going to be able to use new Japan trademarks on their television anymore and quite honestly the storyline has been quite good in making it believable that fletch would turn on will because Will was a member of the family and he knew what the family was about and then all of a sudden out of nowhere he decided to stop playing ball. He lost his nerve because an accident happened in the ring. He couldn’t do what needed to be done anymore. This inaction cost fletch what would’ve been a career highlight in winning the tag team titles with his best friend and then Will goes to war with his family. That was the final straw.

Fletch has some serious potential to really blow up now that he’s out from under will’s shadow.

It will be interesting to see what Mark Davis decides to do if he ever comes back from injury. Because the protostar has the makings of potentially becoming a singles star, but where does that leave Mark because he might not have the same ceiling without Aussie open?

They could potentially have him turn on fletch and stick with Will in a different variation of the united empire but it’ll definitely be interesting seeing that dynamic if he returns.

Honestly the Kyle heel turn was one of the best decisions Tony made last year

The storyline has been really well done, even if I thought it dragged out a little bit in the middle, but they made everything make sense even from the bad guys’s point of view. And what’s funny is I originally didn’t care much for Fletcher when Davis first got hurt because I didn’t see him as a singles star, but they very slowly turned me around on him to the point where I’m ready to get behind this kid as a singles star.

Damn, that’s a great way to end this segment. With Fletcher punctuating his point by dropping Will on his meaty head in the Tiger driver that will became so paranoid to use again. Fletcher Fletcher’s psyching himself up and yelling energy before dropping the pile driver was also brilliant.

So I always rated Kyle but this is as someone who has watched him since he basically debuted in Progress as part of Aussie Open and I saw he had potential as a singles guy but I saw it like years and years and years down the line

I know you’ve seen further down than me obviously but what’s your thoughts on what Mark Davis might be able to do when he comes back?

Honestly guy is a really solid big man wrestler. I think he could play multiple roles in the lower midcard/midcard role or even a decent guy on ROH. Guy is a good wrestler in his own regard
