I imagine by the time they include cheaper live PPV, it’ll be on US/CA Max.
no such thing as CA MAx btw, all hbo content is under the Crave app owned by Bell Media. if you think you have little choice in media distributors in the US, wait till you see our 2 team system here lol

I don’t think Tony cares if he tries his best and loses money, but he’s not intentionally negotiating against his company’s bottom line. He definitely fought very hard to get a proper compensation for the PPV. I can assure you.

I’ll be sticking to Fite for the time being, though. Not only because it’s live, but the French Max is in French and I haven’t found the English option… :ShockToTheSystem
I stream and just wait till the morning. Costs nothing. The Pop up ads are automatically blocked as I just press them off. Same with the PPV's I saved fifty bucks per show. I'm not suggesting anyone follow my way but it saves money when you might not have it or need it for a holiday like myself. How many ppv's have AEW had that's how much I saved £349 Sounds about right been nine.

Converted to pounds it's £349 plus pennies. So without having to pay more each time I'm fine for my holiday in Barcelona.

Pros and cons to both really, I think it's a toss up.

WBD isn't making money so spending that much on the NBA doesn't sound great for them wanting to spend a ton on AEW, but on the flipside, losing the NBA hurts their brand so much it directly hurts other products on the channels such as AEW

Ya p much. I'd would say losing NBA n aew is the most disastrous though. Also now that they out of exclusive they could realistically lose both (if tk was more of a business bully)

Yeah the reason I say it's a toss up is can't predict whether the pros or cons would win out in either scenario. Either way I think Tony should just negotiate his thing and maybe get it done ASAP before this potentially gets messier if he really wants to stay with WBD and they'll probably give him the best deal anyway all things considered I'd guess

I always looked at it as if WBD lost the NBA then that would put more pressure on them to retain AEW because that would be the network's only real saving grace and potentially only real live entertainment.

Yea, this is my thinking. So it could help Tony get a bit of a better deal maybe.
