The one thing I was worried about missing when I went to sleep early was Christian winning the world title so this is a bit of a monkey's paw scenario

Main event needed 5 less minutes and to be before the women's match and it would have been fine though though. Was just a slog at the beginning until the ref bump

Worked out better for me that it closed bc that was perfect timing for me to sleep tho lol

Also didn't cope get choked out in Australia and lost there too? Not calling the finish good but where's this anti cope narrative come from all a sudden? He seemed loved by fans in aew n WWE n only since his return there's this weird new wave of hate. If he keeps putting other talent down going forward I'll certainly agree then but he like just came back and already lost twice...what's the issue?

I enjoyed the main event for the most part but it was definitely not up to par with the rest of the show, especially after having to follow that cage match.

We were all freaking out when Christian came out and I thought he had it when he hit Cope with the spear and forgot about Mox. Him choking out Christian kind of deflated the energy in the building until Swerve came back out at the end.

The actual finish itself with Christian trying that last second crawl to the pin was pretty fucking awesome

I definitely wish Toni and Mariah closed the show. But I also understand the reasons TK gave in the press conference on what he wanted with Swerve and Mox to end the show.

Overall it was a really fucking enjoyable show.

Right I am back. Brody King rules. This tag team titles match is meh. I feel I am going to hate the main but I am happy it seems they ate pivoting to Swerve winning next month which is what I wanted (well him, Hangman or Will). I don't think this story is working especially when everything else is hitting.

I could also go into a full rant about May vs Toni not main eventing
