Why do you think they haven't? He's been super well protected already. Beaten Cody and had a World Title match even. He's young enough right now, he doesn't need to be the guy just yet when Omega, Mox, Cody and Jericho have things under control right now for the time being..

Because I've seen history play out like this once already. Of course you got all those guys established elsewhere to utilize, but if you don't make a guy clearly making a name for himself on your show the top soon, fans will be conditioned to think homegrown guys (and yes, I know he worked MLW) aren't what AEW wants to be the face of their company.

They built the company off their name from WWE for Cody and Omega from both ROH and more importantly NJPW (or really all over). Which most IWC fans consider number 2. But I get your point, lmao.
