Shit, could've called an audible and have Atom Cole make it a 3 way and his buddies could've helped him and no one looks bad.

Been hurt. I would have rather he lost it to Lethal, who would have instantly became an established upper midcard player with the win, instead of disappearing for the last month. But either way, I'm not super fussed because Sammy's reign has been unfulfilling to me and if the plan is for Cody to ultimately turn heel then I'm fine with that.

Lethal is in the same boat as guys like Christian, Archer, Miro(tf happened to him?)

AEW signed all these guys in a short period of time so a lot of others are being lot in the shuffle in favor or the new, shiny toys. Same thing that WWE was suffering from not too long ago

I wouldn't say any of those three other than Archer are lost in the shuffle. Christian is working with Jurassic Express, coming off a major feud with The Elite and Miro is taking time off to heal up. But I get the sentinement. I am patient with AEW because they've typically been able to find good spots for people when there are openings, but I definitely don't see the sense in hiring Lethal, revealing the signing on PPV, having him wrestle once and then disappear for weeks immediately afterwards. Pretty poor execution.
