AEW Rampage averaged 623,000 viewers on TNT Friday night, up 16.9 percent from the previous week. It's the highest viewership for the show since its two-hour Grand Slam episode from September 24.
This was despite the fact that game three of the World Series averaged more than 11 million viewers head-to-head on FOX. There was also an NBA game on ESPN that did 937,000 viewers.
Rampage drew a 0.25 rating in the 18-49 demo, up 13.6 percent from the previous week. That matches the show's best total since Grand Slam.
The show was up across all age groups with the exception of women 18-49. The biggest gains were with males 12-34, which were up 25 percent to a 0.2 rating.
Rampage finished fourth on the cable charts in 18-49, up from ninth place the previous week. Rampage trailed two NBA games and WWE SmackDown, which was moved to FS1 on Friday. SmackDown averaged 1.032 million viewers and drew a 0.29 rating in 18-49.
As compared to the show's 10-week average, Rampage was down 8.7 percent in overall viewers and down 13.8 percent in 18-49. However, the numbers are heavily skewed by the August 20 episode that featured the debut of CM Punk. Removing that week from the calculation, the drops were only 1.5 percent in viewers and 6.9 percent in the demo.
