Street fight was brutal. Visual of The Bunny bloodied was awesome. Ladies went all out.

You know it's good when even the YouTube highlights are age restricted :lol

Friday's New Year's Eve edition of AEW Rampage averaged 453,000 viewers on TNT, down 23.1 percent from the previous week's Christmas Day episode. That Christmas episode of Rampage aired on a Saturday and started an hour earlier than usual.

This is the second-lowest audience in the history of Rampage, beating only the November 26 episode.

In the 18-49 demo, Rampage drew a 0.19 rating, down 26.9 percent from Christmas Day. Rampage finished 21st on the cable charts for the day, which was dominated by college football bowl games. The show was sixth among non-football programming.

WWE SmackDown, which was moved to FS1 for a WWE's Top 10 Moments of 2021 special, averaged 378,000 viewers and drew a 0.08 rating in 18-49. The special finished 58th on the cable charts.

Rampage was down across all age groups, but the one that held up best was people over 50, which only dropped 11.1 percent. The biggest drop was with females 18-49, which fell 29.4 percent.

Given that the show aired on New Year's Eve, the fact that it didn't hit a record low is most likely a positive for AEW.

As compared to the 10-week averages prior to this episode, as shown in the chart below, Rampage was down 14.8 percent in overall viewers and down 9.5 percent in 18-49.

What I'm gathering is that they should permanently move to Saturday an hour earlier lol unless they're just terrified of UFC Fight Nights that are usually ESPN+ exclusive

Yea, it's not too surprising. I wasn't really thinking about wrestling over Christmas/New Year's Eve. I'd imagine a lot of people caught it later after seeing the hype for the street fight online, I did and it was a great show.

I'll be doing this more often too seeing as ITV will start showing everything over here.

Considering they did a good number there on CHRISTMAS DAY It seems best lol and a lot of times there won't be much competition. Fight nights are over earlier a lot, if it's a PPV then Rampage would be against prelims but end when the main card starts

Would actually be less convenient for me since I actually watch UFC but I can't see any reason why they'd stay Friday's after that number last week

Saturday at 9 would be so much better for me.

I could probably catch most of them.

Which seems smart not to compete against the main.
