Friday night's AEW Rampage averaged 588,000 viewers on TNT, up 29.8 percent from the previous week's New Year's Eve episode. It's the best audience the show has had on a Friday night since November 6.
In the 18-49 demo, Rampage
finished seventh on cable with a 0.24 rating, up 26.3 percent from the New Year's Eve show. It's Rampage's highest rating for a Friday episode since October 29.
It was older viewers who carried the show as ratings were up in all categories with the exception of 18-34 and 12-34. There was a 14.3 percent drop among combined males and females in the former age group, while males in the latter group also dropped by that percentage.
The largest increase was with females 18-49, where the audience rose 33.3 percent. Given the drop in 18-34, it's obvious the big increase was in 35-49. Rampage also had a substantial growth of 25 percent with people over 50.
As compared to the 10-week averages prior to this week, as shown in the chart below, this week's Rampage was up 10.9 percent in overall viewers and up 14.3 percent in 18-49.
