I would have never expected a match between Jade and Anna to be that decent.

Friday night's episode of AEW Rampage averaged 594,000 viewers on TNT, up 12.9 percent from the previous week. It's the best audience for the show since November 5.

The show featured Jon Moxley's first match since October. He returned to AEW on Dynamite last Wednesday after taking time away to enter an inpatient alcohol treatment program.

In the 18-49 demo, Rampage drew a 0.24 rating, up 20 percent from the prior week. That matches the show's best rating on a Friday night since October 29.

Rampage finished sixth on cable in the 18-49 demo. The biggest increases were with young men, likely due to the return of Moxley. The show was up 63.6 percent in people 18-34. And with males 12-34, the increase was 81.8 percent. Women in that same category were even with the previous week.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo numbers for Rampage. This week's show was up 11.9 percent in viewers and up 14.3 percent in the demo as compared to the recent averages.

Juicy Thoughts:

- Ethan Page vs. Moxley - couldn't care less who wins this contest. Is anyone out there - a legit Ethan Page fan. Like as their number one wrestler? Makes you wonder. The was so so, but nothing outstanding about it. Went as expected, but really not invested in Mox at this moment in time.

- Danielson clapping Moxley? Interesting. Very interesting.

- What happened to the Roppongi Vice vs. Bucks match? Damn - did something happen to Rocky? I'm guessed covid.

- Nick vs. Trent was great so - some great spots and just very nostalgic of some of their tag team run ins in the past. The amount of nears falls was crazy, there were certainly moments I just assumed the contest was over. Massive win for Trent though!

- Now I can get behind Thunder Rosa destroying Mercedes 100%.

- HOOK vs. my favourite jobber Serpentico - but where is Luthor? Is he gone? Hook just looked straight up amazing for a little guy - can't wait to see how he progresses. QT after the match with the back toss and then the step-over - what a great moment.

- That pre-match interview actually got by hyped. Jade going to retain though - which is going to suck.

- Good showing - although Anna Jay is hands down the better talent. I really don't understand this Jade Cargill push at all. So over-rated and who cares about this 25-0.
