Just watched Jade vs Kiera Hogan really Booking Team you have a 2 Time Impact Champion get squashed in a few mins. Kiera deserves better than that. She's paid her dues and Jade hasn't proven to me at all she deserves all that hype just yet. They put her in the deep end when back in the day she would be still training and not being on TV. Kiera I hope does find a long term deal with someone but if she's getting beat up by girls who are levels behind her in my opinion go back to Impact.

I've been watching pro-wrestling since 1991. In all that time I've cried at it only once (RIP Eddie).

I've now cried twice. Just a complete lack of control of emotions. I've never marked out like that before.

Absolutely fucking perfect. All of it.

I've just cancelled my WWE network subscription, I don't need to waste my time with that any more. CM Punk is in AEW. This company was already awesome and this is their Scott Hall moment. Except it's bigger. And this company is only going to get bigger.

And they've still got Bryan Danielson to come.

He doesn't keep up with AEW much, but I think it's safe to say that Sass is All Elite the way he was talking on Discord last night when me, him and @Halfway House was chilling and talking, he has became a fan. Not even just cause of Punk but just how much he loved everything he got last night.

I think one big thing I appreciate about AEW is the way the commentary team just let the return happen and didn't overshadow it, only making subtle comments. It's really the little things. WWE commentary has brought down a lot of good returns for me.

The moment was so much better because we were allowed to soak it in like Punk was doing. Just hearing out the crowd and how loud it was in there.

Some early ratings analysis from the top markets

Based on the top ten markets, households were up 57.5% from the debut week while 18-49 was up 50%.

A correction from our Saturday night show when we said Chicago did a 1.3 rating, it was actually a 1.1 rating but scored a 1.3 in 18-49, which is actually more impressive and phenomenal.

That also greatly skewed the top ten so the increases are probably going to be less than indicated.

Chicago was up 53% in homes watching and 160% in 18-49 from week one. Dallas doubled its first weekend while DC was up 250% in homes. Atlanta and DC also more than doubled in 18-49 but most other markets were only marginally up.

Including Chicago (1.6 rating to 1.1 rating), AEW did not beat Smackdown in total homes viewing, although obviously with a show on a broadcast network, you have a huge edge.

AEW did beat SmackDown 1.3 to 1.2 in Chicago in 18-49 and slightly in Philadelphia, but SmackDown was larger in the other markets. CM Punk's segment did a 1.7 in 18-49 in the Chicago market, but the rating for the Punk segment was a 1.2.
