I watch less too, it's still just a lot but once I kinda gave up on watching live consistently it got easier lol I just watch wrestling most mornings now which I like to start my day. Dynamite, AEW PPVs and ROH/TNA Thursdays are all I can watch live consistently, usually the overseas WWE shows too since they're early
yeah I should probably just set aside personal Jeff time saturday to watch a quick rampage at least. I was so obsessed with every promotion and now i just cant handle all of it. i guess i burned myself out but also maybe im also happier and busier in life so I dont feel the need to dive so deep every day

Cheap plug but if you didn't see it, I started a review thread with short summaries of the shows I watch last week that I'm gonna try to keep up. I give three easy ratings on how much I think they're worth watching, good, decent, or bad. I gave Collision good and Rampage decent this week. Rampage will get decent most weeks I'm thinking, probably rarely a good

The only bad I gave was to ROH, that show pissed me off this week but that's bc it was so good in recent weeks too :lol but my goal is for people like you and others on here to use it as a guide on what to catch up on

how come it was so bad? it's usually good or passable - so now I must know because it takes a decent amount to make you call shit outright bad.

For context bad basically means completely skippable even if the results may sway you otherwise so it's still in context of the show. Basically don't compare and ROH bad to a Raw bad, a Dynamite bad, etc

But it was literally all squashes, I think once match went 10 mins and maybe 2 longer than 5. Felt like such a waste of an episode after the last few weeks felt like such improvements. Even the main event which was good, wasn't even advertised and booked very lazily during the show with backstage segments, probably bc they realized they couldn't wait a week to air it with this trash card

yikes that sounds bad in the context of ROH. wonder if some it was due to travel to the UK but at the same time with a week delay theres not much of an excuse to not try a bit harder than that.

def dissapointing if the last weeks before were good. What in your opinion has been so good about the weeks prior, I havent watched at all despite paying for the service so id love to know the good stuff as well thats improved

The crowd and venue helped a lot, they were still there this week tho. There was just quality matches, the squashes seemed to just be to build people not to fill time. Mostly backstage but a lot of good interviews with Mark Briscoe and Athena

nice. do you think it would be a good thing to have more residencies or even a permanent residency? or do you think you may start getting diminishing returns?

another thing I considered is - HUGE IF - WWE does end up moving the PC to Vegas - it would be an opportunity to gain a stranglehold in the florida market?

I think it'd be so much easier for everyone even if it was a straight up PC situation where it's the same place every week. ROH was never a traveling brand anyway, they did best in front of their loyal fans. That doesn't exist anymore but Arlington felt like the closest

yeah I feel like it would also help regrow grass roots fans that strictly like ROH (like the NXT florida die hards) - hell NXT was copying ROH when it started anyways so it would make a lot of sense for roh to do that. just do takeover styles ppv

another thing with a permanent residency is you COULD ACTUALLY HAVE A DEFINED ROSTER! and you could train people and build them up taking all the time you need. same with testing new gimmicks without crash and burning on live tv. I really hope they consider this because I think it would be just so stabilizing for ROH and by proxy it would stabilize COllision booking too.

the dream is permanent residency for roh and for aew (some ppl will hate me) 2+1 dynamite rampage on wednesday , 2 hour collision on thursday (or friday if SDL moves) . I think getting their shit off saturday would make the roster more avaialble too. seems too random at times saturday, it's often, imo, lacking a bit of starpower

Yeah I don't remember who it was, maybe Bryan and Dave but they mentioned a Thursday taping scheduled in a few weeks for Collision and they speculated that maybe buildings are cheaper to rent on Thursdays which is probs true, but my first thought was you only have to pay for one flight for talent instead of two since a lot work both shows now

for sure, fly everyone in Tuesday, and you pay an extra hotel night for ppl on collision. plus it would make both shows bleed into each other for storylines - which, in theory, should make people no wanna miss either show because you need both to know whats going on in the other. which imo is not quite the cxase, i still feel like a lott of weeks i can miss collision and i didn't miss THAT much of importance. id like them to give me FOMO every week. Collision should feel like Dynamite in the way that I think anything could happen and if I don't watch I will miss something cool
