If they're not under contract, what kinda "protection" can be applied?

that's crazySign this short term contract with us or don't get booked?
I know, I just can't really think of anything particularly obvious you could do that works for both sides. That's the dangers (if you wanna call it that) of doing this cross promotion stuff.that's crazy
I mean it's sign a 30 day deal or you don't get the attention that makes WWE sign you is my guess. I can see why AEW and NJPW would want some protection in place to stop WWE sniping their partner's talents. See how Stephanie fucked over CMLLI know, I just can't really think of anything particularly obvious you could do that works for both sides. I didn't really have a problem with people going to wwe after being showcased, but I understand why aew and more importantly NJPW felt a bit annoyed by Vaquer getting out of her deal right after a cross promoted show. If they are paid a 30 day fee + appearance it's not overly different than other industries. Morally I think it's dumb though but I guess that is where we are headed :/
Is that with releasing people before their deals ends not just appearing as a one off?I know it's the same as NXT but yeah, still against it.
