Several members of the AEW roster are dealing with recently suffered injuries.

– Bryan Alvarez has confirmed that Skye Blue suffered a broken ankle while facing Hikaru Shida on AEW Collision this past Saturday. Just minutes into the match, Blue hurt her right ankle while catching Shida on a crossbody to the outside. The match was stopped, Blue received medical treatment, and she was helped to the back.
– Dalton Castle is set to miss the remainder of 2024 after being injured while facing Roderick Strong in a match for Collision that was taped on July 10. During the bout, Castle was knocked out with a flying knee. It caused the match to end earlier than expected when Castle was unable to kick out from Strong’s pin attempt.
Alvarez notes that Castle did not suffer a concussion. It’s a different injury, and Castle will need to undergo surgery
– Jay White’s injury that caused The Bang Bang Gang (White, Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) to vacate the AEW Trios titles is a legitimate foot injury, but White is not expected to miss a significant amount of time.
– After the titles were vacated, The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Killswitch & Nick Wayne) defeated Juice Robinson & The Gunns to become the new AEW Trios Champions. Killswitch (the former Luchasaurs) hurt his arm in that match, but it’s expected that he’ll work through it. The injury appears to be a partially torn biceps.
