Today, All Elite Wrestling and Tony Khan are proud to release the card for the first ever All Elite Wrestling Pay-Per-View: Double or Nothing. The show will be taking place on May 25th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
In Las Vegas, we will be crowning our inaugural AEW World and AEW Women’s World Champions in Casino Battle Royale matches. The Men’s Casino Battle Royale will feature top stars of the industry such as Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, PAC, "Hangman” Adam Page, Shawn Spears, and a few surprises.
One of AEW’s most important goals is to create the best women’s division in the world. While we currently have future stars such as Dr. Britt Baker and Bea Priestley, we are searching all corners of the globe for top talent. Our Women’s Casino Battle Royale will be a showcase of this talent, featuring Dr. Britt Baker, Bea Priestley, and new All Elite signees Nyla Rose, Hikaru Shida, and Kris Statlander. As with the men’s match, we have a few surprises in store here as well.
The real drawing power of our roster at it’s current stage are our tag teams. World-class talent like The Young Bucks, The Lucha Brothers, and The Best Friends have chosen to make our company their home. To honor our exciting tag team division, we will be holding three tag team matches to qualify for a Triple Threat Tag Team Ladder Match at our All Out Pay-Per-View on August 31st. These will feature the tag teams mentioned above, alongside the team of Cody and Dustin Rhodes and new signees Jurassic Express.
Our hopes are that we also be able to grow the future stars of this industry right here in AEW. With that said, we will be holding a showcase match between two of the brightest young stars on our roster: Maxwell Jacob Friedman vs brand new signee Brian Pillman Jr.
With our announcements today, we confirm that the following are All Elite:
Brian Pillman Jr.
Hikaru Shida
Jungle Boy Jack Perry
Kris Statlander
Luchasaurus
Marko Stunt
Nyla Rose

Tony Schiavone
Welcome, everyone, to All Elite Wrestling’s first ever presentation: Double or Nothing! We sincerely thank you all for joining us in this special and monumental occasion. I am Tony Schiavone and I am joined by Excalibur.
Excalibur
Thank you, Tony! I appreciate it, but I’m sure these people don’t want to hear from us. They want to see some action! We’ve got TWO Championships to crown tonight so let’s go ahead and get started!
Tony Schiavone
Couldn’t have said it better myself. We’ll go ahead and get on that because our first match is the Women’s Casino Battle Royale! Take it away, Justin!
Match 1: Casino Battle Royale for the AEW Women’s World Championship
Justin Roberts stands in the center of the ring with four members of the Diamond Group: Allie, Kylie Rae, Penelope Ford, and Sadie Gibbs. They are each introduced by Justin in order before he introduces:
“Gloria”
Guilia makes a triumphant entrance in front of the AEW crowd as she’s revealed to be the fifth member of the Diamond Group. With that, the match can begin!
The crowd’s admiration for Guilia quickly turns to boos when she takes off and tackles fan favorite Kylie Rae, sending her to the ground while she pummels her. Penelope and Sadie, meanwhile, tag up on Allie. The first AEW match has finally kicked off!
Ford and Gibbs corners Allie in the corner of the ring with a series of kicks while Guilia continues her assault on Rae. Kylie is able to switch positions with Guilia and returns with a few punches to the head before standing back up. She lifts Guilia up and leaves her feet for a roundhouse kick, but Guilia ducks underneath the kick while simultaneously grabbing Kylie’s leg and slamming her down backfirst. Guilia soaks in reaction as the boos reign down.
Guilia picks Kylie up and tosses her over the rope, but Kylie is able to hang on and slide back under the rope. Guilia’s rampage changed targets from Kylie to Penelope. She pulls Penelope from the corner, where she was attacking Allie, and brings her down with a backbreaker. Sadie tries to get in a sucker punch on the dominant debutante but she is able to absorb the blow and strike back with a shoulder tackle. Penelope is back on her feet and grabs her from behind, but Guilia breaks from the hold, grabbing Penelope’s arm and hitting her with her first AEW Glorious Buster! Penelope crushes to the ground before Guilia picks her up and tosses her over the ropes for the elimination.
Elimination: Penelope Ford by Guilia (1)
Gibbs smartly tucks herself away in the corner while Allie and Kylie Rae get to their feet again. They surround Guilia before double teaming her. Guilia is able to break free with an elbow to Kylie and a punch to Allie. Allie quickly recovers and hits Guilia with a drop kick, sending her back into Kylie’s grasp for a suplex!
Justin Roberts announces the next group is the Spades Group!
Kris Statlander, Brandi Rhodes, and Big Swole rush to the ring to join the fray while Britt Baker saunters behind them, taking her time. Justin Roberts introduces each one individually before introducing the last member of the group: Victoria!
Spades Group: Big Swole, Brandi Rhodes, Dr. Britt Baker, Kris Statlander, and Victoria
The ring fills up quickly with the addition of the Spades group, with nine women occupying the squared circle. A Big Swole superkick sends Sadie Gibbs to the ground as “The Galaxy’s Greatest Alien” leaps off of the top rope to hit an Area 451! She picks up Gibbs’ lifeless body and chucks her over the ropes for the elimination.
Elimination: Sadie Gibbs by Kris Statlander (1)
Statlander and Swole then turn their attention to Victoria. The two smile, clearly respecting the accomplished wrestler, before double teaming her. Victoria fights them off, pushing Big Swole into the corner and knocking Statlander down with a big boot. Brandi tries to take advantage of the attack by jumping on Victoria’s back. Victoria is unphased, and pulls her around to the front before slamming her unceremoniously out of the ring.
Elimination: Brandi Rhodes by Victoria (1)
Meanwhile, Guilia and Allie are locked in a battle in the corner while Kylie Rae leans against the turnbuckle, taking a rest. Britt Baker still has not entered the ring, rather skulking around until she finds an opportune time to strike. That time is now as she jumps up onto the ring apron and grabs Kylie Rae from behind, pulling her over the ropes and onto the floor before entering the ring herself.
Elimination: Kylie Rae by Dr. Britt Baker (1)
Britt Baker rushes in and finds the person she thinks is the most drained: Allie. She pulls her away from Guilia and nails her with a superkick that staggers her back into the ropes. Britt rushes towards her, attempting to send her over with a clothesline. It does in fact send her over, but Allie flips around the top rope and lands feet first on the ring apron. Britt Baker has turned around and started to celebrate, believing that she has eliminated Allie. Instead, she gets pulled back by the hair as Allie tries to force her over. Britt sees a rushing bull coming at her and hits the deck, at the cost of a few hair follicles. Guilia charges in and knocks Allie onto the ground for the elimination.
Elimination: Allie by Guilia (2)
Britt Baker and Guilia trade a stare down, careful not to break eye contact. Britt sees that Big Swole is about to charge at Guilia and warns her. Guilia side steps out of the way and tosses her over the top rope. Big Swole lands on the ring apron, like Allie, but meets the same fate after Guilia nails her with a big boot.
Elimination: Big Swole by Guilia (3)
Schiavone and Excalibur are cut off by Justin Roberts announcing that the next group is the Clubs Group!
The Club Group: Bea Priestley, Barbie Blank, Lacey Ryan, Nyla Rose, Riho
Fresh off of the indies and making their AEW debut are rookies Bea Priestley and Lacey Ryan (known by her WWE name Zoey Stark). They make their debut alongside the monstrous Nyla Rose, the experienced Riho, and former WWE Divas Champion Barbie Blank (then known as Kelly Kelly)!
Ryan and Priestley look to make a hot start by immediately targeting the impressive Guilia. They get her to the ground and Bea sends punches at her face as Lacey kicks at her. Britt decides that their partnership is over and joins in on the fun! While this is happening. Meanwhile, Nyla menacingly stomps her way to the ring.
Riho rushed to the ring to engage with Kris Statlander while Barbie and Victoria stare each other down. The two know each other from their time in the competition. They trade insults as Nyla Rose rolls into the ring and quickly dismantles them with clotheslines before eliminating the both of them.
Elimination: Victoria by Nyla Rose (1)
Elimination: Barbie Blank by Nyla Rose (2)
The crowd’s hype fades and turns into boos as Nyla Rose eliminates two legends of the wrestling industry, seemingly with no issue. She turns and charges into the pile that has formed on Guilia, knocking down Lacey, Bea, and Britt like they were bowling pins. She focuses on Guilia and goes to step on her, but Guilia rolls her up, nailing her in the face with a kick as she rolls out of it. Nyla still can’t hit the ground, so Guilia grabs her while Nyla’s on her knees and plants her with a DDT. Guilia lifts her up and nearly gets her over the ropes before her strength gives out on her.
Meanwhile, Statlander and Riho are trading blows. Statlander reverses a flying crossbody into a rough powerslam before getting attacked from behind by Guilia. Guilia struggles to eliminate Statlander while other action takes place.
Priestley and Ryan are back on their feet and targeting each other. The two trade punches until one of Bea’s punches sends Ryan reeling back towards the ropes. She recovers quickly and hopes off the middle rope, hitting Bea with a missile dropkick. Bea falls back towards the ropes before falling through between the middle and bottom ropes. She stands back up but is immediately met by Lacey’s boots, as she bounces off the ropes and hits Bea with a baseball slide. Ryan tosses Bea back in the ring as she slides in, but is met with a clothesline from Bea. Bea lifts Lacey back to her feet but Ryan wraps her arms around her head and slams her down. Ryan rushes back and grabs her for her finishing move, the Vortex (her Z-360 in WWE). Bea staggers back towards the ropes before she is eliminated by Lacey Ryan.
Elimination: Bea Priestley by Lacey Ryan (1)
Bea Priestley is beside herself at ringside while Lacey hypes herself up in the ring. Lacey falls to a knee to catch her breath, facing away from Bea and looking for her next opponent. What Lacey doesn’t expect, however, is Bea rushing back into the ring, rebounding off the ropes and nailing her with a Bea-Trigger! Bea picks her up and tosses her over the ropes before beating her down at ringside to a chorus of boos. Bea hops on the barricade between the ring and the crowd, leaping off feet first onto Lacey’s back for a Flawless Victory as Tony Khan, Dean Malenko, and security try to pull Bea away.
Elimination: Lacey Ryan by Bea Priestley (1)
While the drama happens outside of the ring, a David vs Goliath situation happens inside. Riho is standing toe-to-toe with Nyla Rose. She takes a jab at Nyla’s face, who absorbs the blow before flattening Riho with a powerslam. Nyla picks Riho up and goes to throw her over the ropes, but Riho wraps herself around Nyla and refuses to let go, nearly sending Nyla toppling over the top rope as well! The two get back to their feet and trade blows on the ring apron. Riho springboards off the middle rope, while holding on to the top rope, and nails Nyla in the face with a kick. This gives Riho a chance as she charges at Rose! Rose picks her up and tosses her over her head, sending Riho flying into the turnbuckle and tumbling to ringside.
Elimination: Riho by Nyla Rose (3)
Nyla gets back in the ring as Justin Roberts announces the Heart Group. Rushing out of the back first is Abadon. Nyla waits for her in the ring, but Abadon crawls through her legs and straight to Britt Baker, who nopes out of the ring and stands at ringside. “The Living Dead Girl” laughs as Nyla Rose picks her up and delivers her first Beast Bomb to Abadon as the other women of the group make their way out. New signees Priscilla Kelly and Hikaru Shida are flanked by Leva Bates and… Tenille Dashwood!
Nyla Rose tosses Abadon out of the ring. She hits back first but rolls over on her back and begins to chase after Britt Baker, while remaining on all fours.
Elimination: Abadon by Nyla Rose (4)
Britt hops back into the ring where she is immediately headbutted by Priscilla Kelly. Kelly caps it off with a 333 before tossing Britt Baker over the ropes, ending her night earlier than many expected.
Elimination: Britt Baker by Priscilla Kelly (1)
Tenille Dashwood still saunters her way down to the ramp, trash talking fans as she walks by. She is stopped in her tracks when Abadon, still on all fours, crawls towards her. Tenille takes off towards the back, running away from “The Living Dead Girl”.
Back in the ring, Hikaru Shida is having a war with Guilia. The two Japanese warriors trade blows and kicks until Shida gets the upper hand. She grabs Guilia and performs a Falcon Arrow, which gets a big pop from the crowd! She gets back to her feet, picking Guilia up by the hair and tries to throw her over. But Guilia elbows Shida in the gut, and hits her with a Falcon Arrow of her own! As Guilia is getting to her feet, Priscilla springboards from the turnbuckle and hits Guilia with a slingblade! She has no time to celebrate as she is met immediately by Kris Statlander, who hits her with a Big Bang Theory! Nyla returns the favor by nailing her with a devastating Beast Bomb that shakes the ring. The only one left standing in the ring is Nyla Rose and… Leva Bates? Nyla looks at Leva’s direction before Bates decides she doesn’t want to die and eliminates herself.
Elimination: Leva Bates by Nyla Rose? Leva Bates? Who knows!
Nyla stands above a pile of bodies as the Joker is revealed to be:
Joker: Taya Valkyrie
Taya Valkyrie is in AEW to a big reaction from the crowd! She enters the ring and goes face-to-face with Nyla Rose. The two powerhouses get in each other's face and taunt each other, giving the other women time to recover and take advantage. Statlander and Priscilla Kelly attack Taya while Shida and Guilia attack Nyla.
Kris and Kelly pull Taya to the corner and start to kick at her abdomen, but Taya is able to fight back. She catches one of Kelly’s kicks and pulls her leg in between the middle ropes before twisting, causing Kelly to yell out in pain. Statlander tries to get Valkyrie back on her feet but Taya has other plans. She reverses her grapple and tosses her headfirst into the turnbuckle before suplexing her. Priscilla gets up, but is careful not to put too much weight on her leg. She tries to go after Taya but collapses into her arms. Taya, having no remorse, scoops her up and throws her over the ropes.
Elimination: Priscilla Kelly by Taya Valkyrie (1)
On the other side of the ring, Guilia and Shida are putting together a much better fight. They’ve nearly got Nyla completely over the ropes. While they’re working as a team, Tenille Dashwood rushes back into the ring, having never entered the match! She rushes in and dumps both Guilia and Shida over the top ropes!
Elimination: Guilia by Tenille Dashwood (1)
Elimination: Hikaru Shida by Tenille Dashwood (2)
Nyla tumbles over too but catches herself before hitting the ground. We are down to our Final Four: Kris Statlander, Nyla Rose, Taya Valkyrie, and Tenille Dashwood!
Tenille celebrates in the ring to massive boos before coming face-to-face with Taya. Taya wants one thing: gold. Nothing is going to stop her from destroying anything that stands in her way. Taya nails Tenille with a hard elbow before following up with a body press drop, showcasing her strength. Tenille tries to roll away but is met by a moonsault from Kris Statlander. Taya picks up Tenille’s husk and tosses her over, leaving just three remaining.
Elimination: Tenille Dashwood by Taya Valkyrie (2)
Nyla and Statlander are worn out and struggling to get to their feet while Taya, showing the true advantage of being the Joker, as “La Guera Loca” has barely broken a sweat. Statlander and Rose rest in opposite corners as Taya takes off, nailing Rose with a double knee strike. She bounces off of Rose and goes straight at Statlander with the same. She goes for Nyla again, who skids out of the way, sending Taya crashing into the bottom turnbuckle knee first. Nyla scoops Taya off the ground and gets ready to slam her to the ground, but Kris Statlander springboards off the second rope and kicks Nyla in the head, causing her to fall backwards, still holding Valkyrie. Nyla rolls through it, seemingly not feeling any pain. She screams at Statlander, as she does it again. This time, NYLA CATCHES STATLANDER! SHE IS HOLDING BOTH WOMEN IN A SCOOP CARRY. She approaches the ropes and tosses them over, with Kris hitting the ground.
Elimination: Kris Statlander by Nyla Rose (5)
Taya is able to hit the ring apron and bring Nyla over the ropes too. The same situation as Nyla was in with Riho. Nyla doesn’t want to take any chances and tries to take Taya’s head off with a clothesline. Taya ducks underneath it and through Nyla’s legs. She stands up and tries to get Nyla in a Chicken Wing. She’s going for a Road to Valhalla! Nyla is able to power through it, turning around and getting under Taya. She grabs her from under her arm and SLAMS HER WITH A URINAGI! Nyla stays on the ring apron as Taya falls to the floor. Nyla Rose is the AEW Women’s Champion!
Elimination: Taya Valkyrie by Nyla Rose (6)
Winner and NEW AEW Women’s World Champion: Nyla Rose! (17:04)
Tony Khan comes out to the ring to present Nyla Rose with her AEW Women’s Championship as Taya Valkyrie and Kris Statlander look on disappointed. We return back to the commentary booth as they go through highlights of the match.
Tony Schiavone
After a dominant performance, Nyla Rose is your AEW Women’s Champion.
Excalibur
Dominant isn’t even the right word. She eliminated six women, Tony! And all of the other women in this roster are now well aware of what they will have to go through to reach the top.
Tony Schiavone
As much as we’d like to, we can’t talk about this all night. We’ve still got five matches ahead of us, one of which is ANOTHER Casino Battle Royale!
Excalibur
Hang on there, Tony. I think the boss wants to say something.
Back in the ring, Tony Khan holds a microphone as Nyla walks to the back.
Tony Khan
Let’s give it up for your AEW Women’s Champion, Nyla Rose!
Cheers mixed in with a few boos.
Tony Khan
We wanted to open the show properly, with a showcase of the excellent female talent that we’ve signed in recent weeks. Some of the great performances you just saw, you will be able to watch week in and week out ONLY on AEW. Talent like Lacey Evans and Priscilla Kelly!
The crowd pops, respecting the solid showings from the rookies.
Tony Khan
Like Guilia!
Boos reign through Las Vegas, despite a great performance.
Tony Khan
And though we haven’t put pen to paper yet, we are working really hard on getting Taya Valkyrie to make AEW her home.
A huge pop for the Battle Royale runner-up.
Tony Khan
But now that we started off the show with the action that you all’ve been craving, allow me to formally welcome you to All Elite Wrestling!
Loud cheers as pyro erupts from the stage. A true spectacle.
Tony Khan
Our first match, like I said, was a showcase. We wanted to showcase what AEW is going to be about. Showcasing the best wrestlers in the world. We are going to showcase the best women’s wrestlers in the world. The best young talent in the world. The best tag team division in the world. And I’m sure you guys don’t want to see me, so I’m going to step aside and let the talent speak for itself. Let’s get started and enjoy the show.
The lights turn out. Angelic music plays as a spotlight shines on the center of the stage.
*Wrestling has more than one royal family*
Fireworks shoot out from the stage as “Kingdom” plays and “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and Dustin Rhodes emerge from an elevator. Dustin hangs back and allows Cody to soak in the moment. It’s his moment. It’s his kingdom. The Nightmare Family take their place in the ring and await their opponents.
The camera shakes as stomping is heard. “Jurassic Express” theme plays as Luchasaurus comes out carrying Jungle Boy Jack Perry on his shoulders to a huge ovation. Fan favorites vs wrestling royalty. When the duo, accompanied by Marko Stunt, arrive in the ring, they shake hands with the Nightmare Family and get the bout started.
Match 2: Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Lucharsaurus) w/ Marko Stunt vs The Nightmare Family (Cody and Dustin Rhodes)
Dustin Rhodes and Jungle Boy start the match off for their teams. The winner will go on to compete in a Triple Threat Ladder Match for the AEW Tag Team Champions at All Out.
The wily veteran and the energized youth start the match slowly, letting the energy build up in the crowd. Dustin starts to play games with Jungle Boy, taking advantage of his size and experience. He leg sweeps Perry to the ground and lets out a chuckle. He extends his hand to help Perry up, but Perry refuses. He kips up back to his feet to a cheer from the crowd. Dustin quickly realizes that this kid is for real and zones in. They lock up again, and Dustin quickly turns it into a headlock. He pushes Jungle Boy out of the lock and into the ropes before going for a clothesline. Jungle Boy ducks under it, rebounds off the ropes and takes Dustin down with hurricanrana. Before Dustin hits the mat, Jungle Boy pounces on him and gets him in a headlock of his own.
The wily veteran and the energized youth start the match slowly, letting the energy build up in the crowd. Dustin starts to play games with Jungle Boy, taking advantage of his size and experience. Jungle Boy is eager to show his athleticism though, and is able to use his speed and youth to his advantage.
Dustin’s age begins to show so he tags in Cody to a big pop. Cody steamrolls through the ring, taking down Jungle Boy each time he gets up. Cody Rhodes is much better able to hang with Jungle Boy, keeping him down as much as he can and wearing him down. Jungle Boy tries to connect with Luchasaurus for a hot tag, but Cody cuts the ring in half. A dropkick sends Jungle Boy flying into the corner. Cody hops to the top rope and leaps off for a moonsault. Jungle Boy rolls out of the way, but Cody lands on his feet. Despite this, Cody is nailed by a swinging DDT. Jungle Boy quickly tags Luchasaurus in and the crowd goes nuts getting to watch an actual dinosaur wrestle! Luchasaurus downs Cody again when he gets up and slams him down with a chokeslam, followed by a pinfall

2.
No!
Luchasaurus doesn’t get the pinfall on “The American Nightmare” but is in complete control of the match. Luchasaurus’ size is hard for Cody to overcome, but after taking a few beatings, Cody is able to fight back. Luchasaurus tries to hit Cody with a roundhouse kick but Cody ducks out of the way. He grabs at the Dinosaur’s head and tries to hit him with a bulldog, but Luchasaurus tosses him away. Cody lands with his feet on the middle rope and springboards off, hitting Luchasaurus with a Disaster Kick.

2.
No!
Luchasaurus kicked out of the Disaster Kick! Cody tags in his brother and they begin to tag team the monster. They pick him up, but Luchasaurus regains his senses and grabs them both by the throat. He lifts both of them up and slams them down. Last time the chokeslam wasn’t good enough, so this time he finishes it off with a standing moonsault. But Dustin puts his knees up and rolls Luchasaurus up!
1.
No!
Luchasaurus kicks out quickly and retaliates with a boot to Dustin’s face. Dustin gets him up and nails him with a Bionic Elbow, which staggers Luchasaurus towards Jungle Boy, who’s able to make the tag. Jungle Boy jumps in, and immediately charges at Dustin, who grabs him for a spinebuster!
1.
2.
No!
Jungle Boy kicks out and wriggles around Dustin, wrapping him up in a Snare Trap! Is Dustin going to tap? He stretches for the ropes but can’t reach it! He’s about to tap but Cody Rhodes crashes into Jungle Boy, breaking the hold. Luchasaurus rushes in but is hit with an atomic drop by Cody. He pushes Luchasaurus out of the ring as Dustin grabs Jungle Boy. Cody retreats to the corner where he is tagged in. Dustin lifts Jungle Boy up for a Final Cut. As soon as Jungle Boy hits the mat, Cody takes off from the rope with a picture perfect moonsault.
The two teams shake hands before heading back. Despite the win, Cody and Dustin raise Jurassic Express’ hands, signifying that they are sure to be players in the tag team division.
Tony Schiavone
The Rhodes Brothers get their first win in AEW but Excalibur, what did you think of the Jurassic Express?
Excalibur
I thought that they sent a clear message that they’re not to be overlooked. Jungle Boy had Dustin Rhodes, one of the greatest of all time, seconds away from tapping out. And let me tell you, these boys backstage have to keep an eye on Luchasaurus. The man is a BRUTE and will be hard to stop.
Tony Schiavone
Despite that, the Nightmare Family will move on to All Out and have a shot at the inaugural AEW Tag Team Championships.
Excalibur
I’m interested to see how that goes. It feels like of the six teams that were up for it, The Nightmare Family may be the least suited for a ladder match. But Cody Rhodes has a determination I’ve not seen in a professional wrestler in a long time, so -
Excalibur is cut off by “Dig Deeper” as golden sparkles fill the video screen, and sparklers light up the stage. MJF trots out with a microphone in hand.
Excalibur
Let’s hear what this asswipe has to say.
MJF has reached the ring to a chorus of boos.
MJF
Listen here, chumps. I don’t have a lot of time. Hell, I wasn’t even supposed to have this microphone. Some schmuck backstage gave it to me. Tony, I think his name was James. I don’t care if you fire him. I just needed to let Las Vegas and the viewers at home know just who Maxwell Jacob Friedman is.
Tony Schiavone
Here we go.
MJF
I am Better. Than. You.
Loud boos erupt from the Las Vegas crowd.
MJF
You are all a bunch of fat drunks who came to Vegas to drink some more and lose all your money. I’d tell you to enjoy your bachelor party but it’s not like you guys have any friends or know any women.
More boos. MJF points at a woman in the front row.
MJF
Trust me, babe. You’re not a woman… But I have something else I want to say specifically to Tony Khan. Thank you, Tony. Thank you for seeing what I am. A future star. At least, that’s what you told me when you said I was in this match. “A Future Star Showcase”, you said. Then why the hell am I fighting Brian Pillman? You see, that hurt me. You told me I was a future star, but then you put me with some wannabe legacy who’s going to end up just like his dad?
Excalibur
Now that’s uncalled for.
Tony Schiavone
Really despicable.
MJF tries to continue his spiel before he is interrupted by “Bulletproof”. Brian Pillman Jr. rushes out to the ring with only one violent intention. He hits the ring and is immediately ambushed by MJF, knocking at his back as he rolls in the ring. MJF follows up with several foot stomps before using his scarf to CHOKE BRIAN PILLMAN! The ref tries to pull him off but MJF holds tight. Billy Gunn and Tony Khan rush out to the ring, ordering MJF to release Pillman, which he does.
MJF
Get him up! Get him to his feet! Let’s have our match!
Tony waves him off as medics come to look at Pillman. He shakes his head at TK, implying that he can fight. He’s going to fight.
MJF
Never know when to give up do you?
Pillman struggles but gets back to his feet.
MJF
Man, you really want to end up like your dad, huh?
Pillman is incensed. He charges at MJF and tackles him to the ground, walloping him with rights and lefts. The ref looks to Tony, who gives the signals to the referee to start the match!
Match 3: Brian Pillman Jr. vs MJF
Pillman finally gets off of MJF after a dozen or so strikes. MJF tries to crawl to the ring but Pillman positions him into the ropes, pushing MJF into the second rope using his boot. Pillman is relentless. He will not let MJF talk about his father that way. Pillman breaks the hold at the ref's request. MJF flees under the ropes and tries to jump over the barricade, fleeing the match. Pillman rushes after him and tries to pull him back to the ring, but MJF has picked up a fan’s beer and THROWS IT IN PILLMAN’S FACE! MJF gets Pillman back in the ring and quickly hits a shoulder breaker, followed by a pin.

No!
Pillman breaks out after a short two. Regardless, MJF still controls the match. He exerts his will on Pillman using a series of knee strikes, stomps, before following it all up with a gutwrench powerbomb!

2.
No!
Pillman isn’t giving up again. He’s clearly injured but is extremely resilient. The fans are entirely behind him. MJF taunts the Las Vegas crowd rigorously, perhaps leading to his downfall. He leans over the ropes yelling at one of the fans at ringside when Pillman rolls him up. He doesn’t go for a pin but rather nails him with a superkick. Pillman goes for a pin but MJF rolls out of the ring. The ref nor Pillman notice that MJF has picked up a pair of brass knuckles! He tucks it away in his trunks as Pillman jumps through the ropes, hitting MJF with a drop kick. He tosses MJF back in the ring and follows up with a swinging neckbreaker before going for a pin.
1.
2.
Nope!
MJF isn’t done yet. He kicks out! MJF doesn’t have much left in the tank, though, but Pillman is feeding off the crowd’s energy. They both get to their feet, but Pillman races for the ropes. As he leaps onto the second rope, MJF slides the knuckles onto his fingers. Pillman springboards off the ropes, arm extended for a clothesline (the Air Pillman), but MJF clocks him with the knuckles! He goes for a pin! Surely this is it!
1.
2.
NO!
Pillman kicked out! Even after taking a shot from the brass knuckles! Pillman is next to dead at this point, so can’t do much when MJF transitions into a Salt of the Earth! MJF has it locked in! Pillman reaches for the ropes, with the ref’s gaze fixed solely on the ropes. MJF pulls, trying to keep him from the ropes! Pillman’s gonna do it! MJF frees his hand and smashes the back of Pillman’s head with brass knuckles, knocking him out. The ref sees Pillman’s hand fall limp and checks to see if he’s unconscious. He raises the hand, and it falls. Once more, and it falls again. One last time, and it hits the mat, giving MJF the win.
Tony Schiavone
Brian Pillman will get a loss in the record books, but this was by no means a defeat.
Excalibur
Not at all, Tony. Brian Pillman took physical and emotional abuse before the match even started, then took TWO punches with brass knuckles. I have no idea how Tony Khan can let this stand. MJF is a vile human being and has no place on this roster after tonight.
Tony Schiavone
I’m sure he’ll have a lot to say to Maxwell. In the meantime, let’s check out our first look at All Out.
A video package plays announcing All Out, live from the Sears Center Arena in Chicago, Illinois on August 31st, 2019. The promotional package features clips and voiceovers from Cody Rhodes, Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Adam Page, and PAC claiming that they are “All In” but in Chicago, they’re going “All Out”.
MJF struts backstage, relishing in his first win, when Tony Khan approaches him.
Tony Khan
You’re satisfied with what you did out there, Max?
MJF
You wanted to showcase your future star. I showcased myself. I am going to do whatever it takes to climb this ladder and become the face of not only AEW, but the entire wrestling industry.
Tony Khan
I admire your determination. I do. But that’s not how we do things here, MJF. That’s not how I do things. You choked out a man on live TV. You nearly busted his skull with brass knuckles and you think you’re going to be rewarded? No. I’m taking you out of the Casino Battle Royale tonight.
MJF is so irate, he can’t find the words. He’s grasping at straws to find a reason to stay in the match.
MJF
You’ve already got the spots filled. Everyone’s here. You can’t replace me with anyone!
Tony Khan
I already have. We’ve attracted a lot of attention from all around the wrestling world, so we have a few guests who just wanted to come and hang out and witness history. One of which is this man…
JAY LETHAL walks on screen to a big ovation.
Tony Khan
We’ve got wrestling legends, former world champions, and some of the best wrestlers in the world tonight. You’re expendable.
Tony shakes hands with Lethal and walks away.
Jay Lethal
Sorry, kid.
Lethal smugly reaches his hand out to shake MJF’s, but MJF refuses.
Jay Lethal
Keep climbing that ladder.
Back at commentary, Tony Schiavone and Excalibur mark out over Jay Lethal’s appearance tonight.
Excalibur
Did he say multiple world champions? Who else is back there?!
Tony Schiavone
I guess we’ll find out tonight. But first, we’ve got to see who will move on to the Ladder Match at All Out.
“Superkick Party”
The crowd roars as The Young Bucks appear on stage. They bump hands at the top of the ramp before marching to the ring. They have a look of determination on their faces, but they also know that they’re here to put on a show for the Vegas crowd. They’ll have a good chance of doing that with their opponents:
SoCal Uncensored make their entrance next, with Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian flanked by Christopher Daniels, holding a microphone stand Freddy Mercury style. He hypes the crowd up before returning backstage to prepare for his spot in the Battle Royale main event. Sky and Kazarian are not faltered without their friend. They soak in the “SCU” chants and get ready to work.
Match 4: SoCal Uncensored (Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) vs The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson)
The bell rings as Matt Jackson and Scorpio Sky begin in their corners. Matt discusses strategy with Nick in the corner, before turning around into a quick running knee strike from Sky. SCU seems to know that all eyes will be on the EVPs tonight and they want to take that spotlight for themselves. Scorpio Sky dominates the elder Buck as he cuts the ring in half, consistently tagging in Kazarian to stay fresh.
While Kazarian has Matt lifted for a powerbomb, he takes a strong punch from Jackson, trying to free himself. Kazarian slightly loses his grip, nearly dropping Matt. He regains his strength and powers him back up, but Matt rolls through and rolls him up!
1.
Nope.
The rollout fails and as Matt gets to his feet, he’s hit in the back of the head with an enziguri from Sky on the ring apron. He falls back into Kazarians arms who hits him with a back-to-belly piledriver! He goes for a pin…
1.
2.
No!
Matt Jackson kicks out after a short two count. The Young Bucks are about to show SCU just how quickly they can get back into a match! Kazarian gets Matt back to his feet and positions him for an Unprettier. Jackson is able to break free, pushing Kazarian into the ropes and knocking him down with a superkick on the rebound! Matt falls back to the ground after his burst of strength. He jumps up to tag Nick in but Frankie grabs him by the leg, pulling him back to the middle of the ring and locking in an ankle lock! Kazarian wraps his leg around Matt’s, putting even more pressure on it. Matt doesn’t give up, and the pressure is released when Nick Jackson leaps off the top rope, splashing onto Frankie! Nick pulls Matt on top of Frankie for the pin.
1.
2.
No!
Scorpio Sky entered the ring and tackled Nick into the pin to break the count. The ref tries to maintain control of the match and forces Nick and Scorpio back to their corners of the ring, which gives Matt and Kazarian time to make the tags. Nick comes in hot and immediately starts throwing punches at Sky. He corners him in the turnbuckle before charging at him with a step-up high knee. Sky is staggered and Nick follows it up for a bulldog before going for a pin.
1.
2.
No!
Another short 2 count follows the bulldog, but the Young Bucks stay in control of the match. Like SCU did in the early stages, this stage of the match is dominated by the Young Bucks. The match evens up a bit when The Bucks go for a springboard splash and standing moonsault combination. Nick springboards off the ropes and connects with Scorpio’s upper half while Nick, the legal man, takes off for a moonsault before crashing into Sky’s knees. Sky turns it into a pin attempt, but sees Matt rushing towards him to break it up. Sky catches him and hits him with a Fatal Answer! Matt rolls out of the ring as Sky picks Nick up and hits him with a TKO! Matt’s not around to break up the pin! SCU’s gonna do it!
1.
2.
NO!
Nick Jackson kicked out of the TKO! He argues with the ref, not believing that someone would be able to! Enough with the games. He tags Kazarian in and straps Nick to his back. They’re going for an SCU Later! Before Sky is able to toss Nick into Kazarian’s knee, Matt is back in the ring and SPEARS Frankie away. In the chaos, Nick breaks free from Scorpio and decapitates him with a superkick! Matt picks Sky up and drops him with a rolling fireman’s carry before Nick hits him with a 450 splash, followed by a Matt moonsault! A More Bang For Your Buck! Nick goes for the pin!
1.
2.
NO!
Scorpio Sky kicked out of the More Bang For Your Buck! Matt lifts Sky to his knees and grabs his arm, they’re looking for a BTE Trigger! Kazarian is back in the ring and grabs Matt as Nick kicks at Sky’s head. Scorpio ducks and lifts Nick up for a powerbomb as Frankie does the same! They bump the Bucks’ back together before slamming them down. Sky pins Nick!
1.
2..
No!
The powerbomb combination wasn’t enough to win it! Sky tags in Kazarian. If the Bucks are gonna be pretty about it, so will they! Kazarian puts Nick in the position for a piledriver as Sky goes to springboard off the top rope. As he descends, he’s hit with a picture perfect Superkick, knocking him out! Nick wriggles free from Kazarian and clocks him with a superkick as well! The Bucks finally go for the BTE trigger and connect!
The Young Bucks win the match following the BTE Trigger and will move on to face The Nightmare Family and the winner of the Lucha Brothers and the Best Friends in the Ladder Match at All Out. The Bucks celebrate in the ring as Tony Schiavone and Excalibur break down the highlight-filled match.
Excalibur
I really thought SCU was going to pull this off. What a performance. But the Young Bucks just could not stay down. Each time you thought they were out, they just refused to let SCU get that final blow.
Tony Schiavone
More interestingly, the Young Bucks will go on to All Out where they will meet either the Lucha Brothers or the Best Friends… and Cody and Dustin Rhodes. They’ll have to set their friendship aside to secure the gold.
Excalibur
Let’s see what “The American Nightmare” has to say!
Backstage, Alex Marvez is with The Nightmare Family.
Alex Marvez
Cody, you just saw The Young Bucks advance to the Ladder Match at All Out, which you and Dustin have also qualified for. How are you feeling knowing you’re going to have to face off with two of your closest friends.
Cody Rhodes
That’s just the wrestling business, Alex. We’re all friends here. We travel together, we eat together, we’re a fellowship. And then we go out to do what really matters. We go out there and we put all that away and we fight. We fight for bragging rights and championship gold. That’s what we’re all here for. That’s what I’m here for. That’s why I started this company. To prove that I am the best. And to be the best, you’ve got to have the gold. So I’m going to fight for that gold, and I have the privilege of doing it alongside my brother. Matt, Nick, blood runs thicker than water. I am going to do whatever it takes to hold those titles above mine and my brother’s heads at All Out.
A clear message sent to fellow members of the Elite. Cody wants the gold, and he’s coming for it.
We stay backstage in Tony Khan’s office. He shakes hands with Taya Valkyrie.
Tony Khan
Taya, I’d like to thank you for your commitment to AEW. We’re thrilled to have you on our roster. We’re really looking forward to seeing you at All Out.
Taya nods her head and leaves as Kris Statlander comes in.
Kris Statlander
Tony, I want Nyla Rose at All Out. I took her to her limits and I think I could take her down if I was one-on-one with her.
Tony Khan
I see the fire in you, Kris. You’ll get an opportunity down the line. Unfortunately, for you, I just made Nyla Rose vs Taya Valkyrie official for All Out. It was part of her contract offer, AND she was the last eliminated tonight.
Kris looks disappointed, but understands what he’s saying. She’ll keep working hard and she’ll get her shot. As she leaves, Hikaru Shida and Guilia enter. The two stare each other down after their conflicts earlier in the night.
Tony Khan
Thank you both for coming, and thank you for joining us at AEW. Listen, I have a lot on my plate right now but I just wanted to let you know that -
A commotion is heard from outside. Cameras follow as Tony takes off towards the sound to find Lacey Ryan and Bea Priestley going at it. Lacey grabs Bea by the hair and slams her into a storage box! Bea grabs a metal pole and swings it at Lacey, who ducks. The pole swings around and nails Hikaru Shida! Shida and Guilia followed Tony Khan out here and now Shida gets in the mix. She jumps Bea but Guilia pulls her off and starts beating her down as well. Security gets them separated as they scream and insult each other.
Tony Khan
We are not doing this here! We are not operating this way! If you want to fight, you’ll fight. At All Out, it’ll be Bea Priestley and Guilia vs Hikaru Shida and Lacey Ryan!
The crowd disperses, satisfied with their opportunity to beat the shit out of each other. Tony stays behind, takes a deep breath and ponders.
Tony Khan
I am really not cut out for this shit.
When we return to the arena, “Best Friends” plays as Chuck Taylor and Trent high-fives fans on their way to the ring and a shot at the AEW Tag Team Championships. They know their odds are low, going against one of the greatest tag teams of the modern era. Still, their moods are high and they exude a perhaps naive confidence.
“Lucha Brothers” erupts from the MGM Grand Garden sound system to a big pop. Pentagon and Rey Fenix are clearly a popular group with the Las Vegas crowd, though they don’t show it. They’re intent on getting to the ring, getting business done, and moving on to face off against the team that just took their AAA Tag Team Championships away from them.
Match 5: Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent) vs Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr and Rey Fenix)
The Best Friends start off with Chucky T as the Lucha Brothers begin with Pentagon. Chuck goes in for a handshake, wanting to establish respect with the Lucha Brothers quickly. Penta ignores the handshake, instead sticking his hand in Chuck’s face and calling out “Zero Miedo” and slapping Taylor in the face! Taylor is taken aback and by the time he refocuses, Pentagon nails him with an enziguri.
The crowd and their opponents are both taken aback by the Lucha Brother’s actions tonight. Not at the fact that they’re the athletically superior team, but rather that they’re physically abusing the Best Friends in every way possible. They’re using anything legal in the environment at their disposal. Chuck Taylor takes the brunt of the damage, having his throat pushed into the bottom rope, being thrown out of the ring, and slammed into the steel stairs at ringside. The Lucha Brothers are brutal, and they’re taking no prisoners tonight.
The brutality continues as Pentagon hits Chuck Taylor with a backdrop slam onto the ring apron. He hops back in the ring and tags Rey Fenix in and he promptly climbs to the top rope, looking for a high impact diving move onto Taylor at ringside! Trent has to protect his best friend so he takes off from his corner, springboards off the ropes and wraps his feet around Rey’s head, sending him flying to ringside with a Hurricanrana! The crowd roars at the high flying move as Trent then follows it up with a spear to Pentagon! The Lucha Brothers are both incapacitated as the Best Friends get some momentum. The crowd's anticipation grows as the Best Friends return to the ring and hug to a big pop!
From here on out, the match is much more even. The Best Friends get a chance to show off more of their offense, with Trent especially showing off his arsenal. He tags Chuck back in after a rest as he whips Rey into the corner. Chuck enters the ring and Trent takes off towards the corner, smashing his face in with a running knee. Chuck follows quickly after him, dealing more damage with a big boot. Rey staggers into Chuck, who slams him with a uranage! He goes for a pin…

Rey kicks out of the Uranage! Chuck doesn’t slow down, immediately getting Rey back up and hitting him with an Awful Waffle! This is surely it!

Pentagon crashes into Chuck to break up the pin. The two of them get up as Trent reenters the ring. He takes off towards Pentagon and goes for a Gobstopper… but Penta side steps it and Trent takes out Chuck instead! Penta grabs Trent and tosses him out of the ring so he can’t break up the fall. Rey crawls over to make the pin!

Chuck Taylor had to kick out of his own partner’s move! Penta helps Rey back to his feet and then tries to get Chuck back up, but Trent reenters the ring! He swings at Pentagon, who ducks and nails Trent with a superkick! Trent stays on his feet, but staggers a bit backwards. The Lucha Brothers finish it off with a double superkick, sending Trent falling through the ropes. Pentagon picks Chuck up as Rey climbs to the top rope… FEAR FACTOR!
The Lucha Brothers raise their hands in the center of the ring, but they know their story isn’t finished. Ahead of them are the Young Bucks and The Nightmare Family. Trent gets back in the ring to check on Chuck, feeling responsible for the team’s downfall with the botched Gobstopper. Chuck shows forgiveness as we return to the announce desk.
Tony Schiavone
A little miscommunication there stopped the Best Friend’s momentum in its track, allowing the Lucha Brothers to take advantage and punch their ticket to All Out.
Excalibur
The Best Friends will be fine! Mistakes were made. They’ll move past them and come back better than ever, I assure you.
Tony Schiavone
But speaking of All Out, we have a very special announcement. In the weeks building up to the Pay-Per-View on August 31st, we will be hosting The Road to All Out on AWs Youtube Channel! This will take us backstage tonight and into the minds of our wrestlers as they prepare for one of the biggest nights of the year.
Excalibur
Keep an eye for this. As for the show itself, we can confirm that Nyla Rose vs Taya Valkyrie for the AEW Women’s Championship and Bea Priestley and Guilia vs Hikaru Shida and Lacey Ryan have been made official for the show.
Tony Schiavone
On top of that, we just received word from Tony Khan that the winner of tonight’s main event will defend their new AEW World Championship against the last remaining competitor at All Out.
Excalibur
And we’re about to see who that will be! It’s time for our main event!
Main Event: Casino Battle Royale for the AEW World Championship
The number is drawn and Justin Roberts announces the first group as the Spades group. At the call, Darby Allin, Kip Sabian, Evil Uno, and Angelico walk out from the back and prepare to go.
“Battle Cry”
Kenny Omega walks out of the tunnel, pointing his finger gun at the ring. With a “BANG!” he marches forward with the AEW Championship on his mind. Can he go the distance?
The bell rings and here we go! In mere minutes, we will have our first ever AEW World Champion! Kip Sabian beelines towards Darby Allin and takes him down, while Dark Order leader Evil Uno and Angelico double team Kenny Omega. The two fan favorites, Omega and Allin, definitely have a hill to climb to get out of this mess.
Allin’s chance comes when Sabian gets a bit too full of himself. He climbs off of Allin to taunt the crowd, but as he tries to get Allin on his feet, he trips him up and sends Sabian flying through the ropes. Allin then chooses to focus on Evil Uno. Not eliminated, as he went through the ropes, Sabian grabs a skateboard that Darby left at ringside. He brings it into the ring and attempts to slam it against Allin. Allin dodges the attack, and the skateboard rams into the top rope, bouncing off and hitting himself in the face. Dazed, Allin grabs him from his legs and tosses him over the ropes!
Elimination: Kip Sabian by Darby Allin (1)
Meanwhile, things are also going better for Kenny Omega. After getting caught up in the ropes by Uno and Angelico, they get him over the ropes, but he pulls Angelico over the ropes with them. They both land on the ring apron and, after Omega smashes Uno with an elbow, he hits Angelico with a sitdown facebuster! Careful not to fall off, he rolls back in the ring and kicks Angelico down to the ground for the elimination.
Elimination: Angelico by Kenny Omega (1)
Angelico’s body hits the ground as Justin Roberts announces the next group!
The Diamond Group: Christopher Daniels, Michael Nakazawa, Orange Cassidy, PAC, Sammy Guevara
Nakazawa is the first to hit the ring as the others take their time, specifically Orange Cassidy, who moseys out of the tunnel by the time Nakazawa enters the ring. Nakazawa is immediately set up by Evil Uno, using his size to bully Nakazawa around. That is until Kenny Omega protects the friend of the Elite by pulling Uno off of Nakazawa and drop kicking him into a corner. Nakazawa hugs Kenny as a response before trying to throw him over the ropes! Kenny avoids the surprise elimination and apologizes to Nakazawa about what he’s going to do. He kicks Nakazawa in the gut and casually tosses him over, ending Nakazawa’s time in the ring before most of the group even made it in.
Elimination: Michael Nakazawa by Kenny Omega (2)
The other three members of the Diamond Group are now in the ring with the exception of Orange Cassidy, who’s about halfway to the ring now. Meanwhile, in the ring, Daniels has gone straight after Evil Uno and Sammy Guevara goes after Darby Allin. PAC slides in the ring and stares down with Kenny. PAC goes for a clothesline, but Kenny ducks. PAC’s momentum carries him to the ropes where he ducks a retaliation blow from Kenny. He rebounds again, leaping over Omega when he falls to the floor. Omega springs up as PAC rebounds again, but is brought to the ground when PAC baseball slides and swipes out Kenny’s legs from underneath him. Kenny is quick to his feet but is met by an airborne PAC and his springboard crossbody. PAC lifts Kenny up and tries to toss him over the ropes, but Kenny hangs on tight.
Cassidy is now at ringside, but he turns once he gets to the Squared Circle and starts to walk towards the stairs. Evil Uno has had enough and rolls out of the ring, grabs Orange Cassidy, and tosses him in the ring. Orange rolls in, and keeps on rolling. Uno gets back in and tries to keep him in the ring but he rolls right out the other side before giving the crowd a half-thumbs up. Uno yells at him from the ring, but is upended by Christopher Daniels and toppled over the ropes.
Elimination: Evil Uno by Christopher Daniels (1)
Uno hits the ground. Suddenly the lights turn off. When they return, Evil Uno is standing in the ring behind Christopher Daniels alongside two men wearing Dark Order masks. The masked men beat down Daniels. Uno straps Daniels to his back while one of the masked men heads to the top rope. He leaps off, grabbing Daniels’ head as he makes his way down and slamming it down for a Fatality! The Dark Order leave the ring, leaving a lifeless Daniels lying in the ring. The competitors are stunned, and PAC is the first one to lift up Daniels’ corpse and dump him over the ring.
Elimination: Christopher Daniels by PAC (1)
Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian rush to Daniels’ aid, but as they’re rushing out the tunnels, the lights turn off again. When they turn back on, the Dark Order are gone, leaving nothing but the Dark Order logo on the video screen.
The three minutes are up and the next group is announced as the Hearts Group! This group is highlighted by “Hangman” Adam Page, Jay Lethal, “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs, Jay Lethal and one more man: The three letters appear on the video board:
RVD
Rob Van Dam is in the Casino Battle Royale! The wrestling legend gets the biggest pop of the night so far as he walks to the ring alongside the rest of his group.
The Hearts Group: Adam Page, Jay Lethal, Peter Avalon, Rob Van Dam, Will Hobbs
Page, Lethal, and RVD hit the ring hard, finding anyone to attack. Avalon taunts the crowd as he patiently waits for a moment to enter the ring. Hobbs stomps his way to the ring. A true powerhouse. Every step he takes sends shivers through those in the ring, as they should. He finally makes it to the ring and immediately down Sammy Guevara and Kenny Omega with powerslams. Darby Allin comes up from behind and tries to bring him down with a drop kick. Hobbs doesn’t budge. Instead, he grabs Allin, lifting him up high in the air for an absolutely mesmerizing spinebuster that nearly sends Allin through the ring! Hobbs lifts Allin’s broken body and tosses him over to a chorus of boo’s.
Elimination: Darby Allin by Will Hobbs (1)
By this time, Peter Avalon has finally entered the ring. He sees one sight of Powerhouse Hobbs and immediately tries to leave the ring. Hobbs catches him, pulls him back into the ring and lifts him up. Avalon tries to squirm away but it’s for nothing as Hobbs unceremoniously powerslams Avalon over the ropes.
Elimination: Peter Avalon by Will Hobbs (2)
The next couple of minutes is a complete show by Hobbs. No one is safe for his wrath, except Sammy Guevara for some peculiar reason. Sammy expertly picks at the pieces that Hobbs leaves behind, as if they’re working together. The domination continues until RVD is able to get his say so. Hobbs picks him up from the corner, but RVD leaps up and hits Hobbs with an Eziguri. For the first time, Hobbs has been staggered. RVD follows up with a roundhouse kick, and then finally a drop kick that sends Hobbs into the ropes. He and the entire rest of the ring tries to eliminate him.
RVD, however, is pulled away by Guevara as the others try to force Powerhouse over the ropes. RVD reverses Sammy’s grapple and turns it into a northern lights suplex. RVD then bounces off the ropes for a rolling thunder! Sammy is out of it and RVD joins the fray still attempting to eliminate Hobbs.
The three minutes are up and the final group is called out: The Clubs Group! Before anyone else comes out, Chris Jericho sprints as quickly as he’s able to to the ring. Schiavone calls Jericho a master opportunist so he wants to see Hobbs gone. To the surprise of everyone, Jericho starts pulling people off of Hobbs! He pulls Omega off and hits him with a right hand. He does the same to PAC and Hangman. The other four members of the group begin to make their way out, consisting of Cody Rhodes, Shawn Spears, Billy Gunn, and Joey Janela!
The Clubs Group: Billy Gunn, Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes, Joey Janela, and Shawn Spears
Lethal lets go of Hobbs to focus on Jericho, but is met with a Judas Effect! Lethal falls back through the ropes, avoiding elimination. RVD doesn’t meet the same fortune, as he pays the price for poking the bear. With RVD all that’s left, Hobbs lifts him high above his head and over the ropes for his third elimination.
Elimination: RVD by Will Hobbs (3)
Jericho is set upon by the new entrants, primarily Rhodes, wounded from his match earlier, and Janela. Hobbs fights the two of them off, tossing Cody into the corner and into the arms of a Shawn Spears powerslam, and giving Janela a powerslam of his own. Spears approaches Hobbs, almost in a show of respect. Before the two begin to trade blows. Janela gets back up and starts targeting Jericho again, but Jericho shakes him off and tosses him into Spears. Spears seems more annoyed than concerned, but this doesn’t save Janela. He meets the same fate as those eliminated before him, with Spears throwing him over the ropes.
Elimination: Joey Janela by Shawn Spears (1)
Spears is proving to be his own kind of tough, going blow for blow with Powerhouse Hobbs. Spears actually is able to get Hobbs up above his shoulders and is about to bring him down for a powerbomb. Jericho comes from behind and delivers a Judas Effect to Spears to the back of his head, causing him to drop Hobbs, who grabs his head and brings it down for a facebuster as he lands. Jericho, Sammy, and Hobbs are left standing now. The trio grabs each other's hands and raises them up, seemingly celebrating their victory already. It seems like Jericho has found some members of the AEW roster already in his employ! Jericho barks his orders, sending Guevara to work to bring Lethal back in the ring and Hobbs to finally get Cassidy in.
Hobbs grabs Cassidy, but the Freshly Squeezed One suddenly gets a burst of energy and reverses, sending Hobbs slamming into the barricade. He rushes in the ring and starts pounding on Jericho! He overwhelms the wrestling legend, even hitting with a Canadian Destroyer, much to the delight of the crowd. He gets Jericho back on his feet and sends him to the ropes, but is met there by Will Hobbs on the ring apron. Hobbs grabs him, effortlessly pulls him over the ropes onto the ring apron. Before Hobbs can move, Cassidy sends a lackadaisical kick his way. And another. Hobbs laughs, amused by this. Finally, Cassidy winds back for the final blow, but is crashed into by Chris Jericho, sending Cassidy hard to the floor.
Elimination: Orange Cassidy by Chris Jericho (1)
Meanwhile, Shawn Spears partakes in elder abuse, as he focuses on Billy Gunn. He has him cornered by the turnbuckle, stomping him to the ground. He gets Gunn up, but Gunn switches positions and sends Spears into the turnbuckle, chopping him. Spears soaks up the chop, and looks even angrier. He rips the t-shirt off of the former D-X member and chops him, already reddening his chest. Spears lifts him over his head and carries him to the center of the ring, dropping him for a C4! He picks up the lifeless husk of Gunn and throws him over.
Elimination: Billy Gunn by Shawn Spears (2)
The boos rain down from Las Vegas but not for long, as Justin Roberts announces that it’s time for the Joker.
“Wild Things”
The music plays but the video screen is blank, and no one has appeared from the tunnel. Suddenly, the word “MOXLEY” appears on the screen. Fresh off of his contract with WWE, Jon Moxley is All Elite and is here for the AEW World Championship!
Mox hits the ring like a bat out of hell. Hitting Lethal with a clothesline, Guevara with a punch, before being turned around by Shawn Spears. The former WWE superstars square off, with Spears getting a few hits in. Moxley quickly turns the tables before finishing Spears off with a Paradigm Shift! He gets Spears to his feet and ends the star’s dominant debut.
Elimination: Shawn Spears by Jon Moxley (1)
Moxley then goes one-on-one with another former WWE star: PAC. PAC dodges Moxley’s first move and leaps off the ropes for a springboard crossbody. Moxley connects a kick to PAC’s gut before lifting him up for another Paradigm Shift! He follows the same fate as Spears and quickly gets dumped out by Moxley!
Elimination: PAC by Jon Moxley (2)
Moxley is feeling it, and the crowd is egging it on! He maybe lets his mouth do too much talking as he quickly ends up in a battle of words with PAC as he walks backwards up the ramp. PAC will learn he made a mistake when he tells Moxley that he’s a “fucking sellout”. Moxley is incensed and leaves the ring to go after PAC. The two brawl up through the ramp and towards the announce table. PAC throws Moxley over the table into Excalibur’s lap. The broadcast team quickly scatters, leaving just the two combatants and the table. PAC takes a breather, thinking he’s disposed of Moxley, but Moxley leaps from over the table and starts walloping PAC. Moxley gets him on top of the pile of chips. He hooks his arms, but PAC breaks free, hitting him with a Falcon Arrow onto the chips! PAC isn’t done yet, as he climbs the scaffolding that sits above the announce table. He leaps off, and connects on Dean Ambrose with a 450 Splash! A “Holy Shit” chant breaks out as both men lay broken on the stage.
Back in the ring, after the madness, fan’s attention returns to the ring as The Elite (Kenny Omega, Adam Page, and Cody Rhodes) draw a line in the sand against Jericho and his new group (Jericho, Hobbs, and Guevara). Lethal lay in the corner and Moxley may very well be dead. The line in the sand quickly gets crossed as the three men start pounding on each other. Rhodes against Guevara; Hobbs against Page; and Jericho against Omega. Hobbs-Page and Rhodes-Guevara spill into the corners while Jericho and Omega take center stage. They trade blows in the center of the ring as Rhodes demolishes Guevara in the corner with stomps. Guevara grabs onto one of the kicks, spinning around and twisting Rhodes’ knee. Guevara gets underneath, in agonizing pain, and tosses him over the top. Rhodes lands on the ring apron and rolls back in, staying alive. Meanwhile, Omega has Jericho on the ropes! He steps back towards Guevara’s corner and is about to take off for a V-Trigger, but Guevara sneaks behind him and low blows him! Jericho follows it up with a Codebreaker! Guevara scoops him up and throws him out to a chorus of massive boos!
Elimination: Kenny Omega by Sammy Guevara (1)
As Jericho celebrates, Page leaps off from the ring apron for a Buckshot Lariat, and connects with Jericho! He’s not able to do anything, as Hobbs immediately tackles him and picks him up for the same devastating spinebuster he gave Darby earlier. The Last Will and Testament incapacitates Adam enough for him to throw him over the rope.
Elimination: Adam Page by Will Hobbs (4)
As looks on at his casualty, Cody springboards off the middle ropes and brings him down with a Cody Cutter! Guevara pounces on Rhodes as he tries to get back to his feet but is pulled off by Jay Lethal. Lethal hits him with consecutive punches, sending him towards the ropes. He finishes it off by lifting Guevara up for a Gourdbuster and dropping him over the ropes, facefirst onto the floor.
Elimination: Sammy Guevara by Jay Lethal (1)
The action doesn’t stop, as Cody immediately gets Jericho up for a Cross Rhodes! As he’s about to twist him, Hobbs storms at him and levels him with a spear! Hobbs gets up to taunt “The American Nightmare” but is immediately met by a spear from… Jon Moxley? Moxley is back in the game and just saved Cody Rhodes from sure doom! Hobbs gets back to his knees but is met with a Lethal Injection from Jay Lethal! To be sure the beast is dead, Cody seals the deal with a Cross Rhodes! He struggles to toss Hobbs over but he gets the job done!
Elimination: Will Hobbs by Cody Rhodes (1)
The final four is set, and they are all barely moving! Cody Rhodes, Chris Jericho, Jay Lethal, and Jon Moxley. One of these men will win the AEW World Championship and another will challenge for that Championship at All Out.
The four men slowly get to their feet and start exchanging punches and kicks between each other. Jericho attempts a Judas Effect to a staggered Moxley, who catches and lifts him up for a spin-out Powerbomb! Moxley seems to have picked up some moves from his SHIELD counterparts.
Lethal has Rhodes in his grips and hits him with a rolling fireman’s carry towards the corner, before trying to hit a springboard moonsault. He connects it! Lethal feels it too and struggles to get back to his feet, but is met by Moxley who plants him with a Death Rider! Moxley has surely eliminated Lethal and throws him over, but Lethal hangs on and brings Moxley over too! The two trade punches on the ring apron until Cody Rhodes hops off the middle rope looking for a Disaster Kick. Lethal ducks and the kick connects with Moxley, sending him to the ground!
Elimination: Jon Moxley by Cody Rhodes (2)
Rhodes gets back to his feet but is caught by Lethal. He gets Rhodes over the ropes to the same position that he and Moxley were in. Jay picks Rhodes up and is about to hit him with a Shoulder Breaker when Jericho comes out of nowhere with a Judas Effect to Lethal’s skull! Cody falls to the ground!
Chris Jericho celebrates in the ring as confetti falls from the ceiling of the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Rhodes, Moxley, and Lethal look on as Hobbs and Guevara join in on the celebration. He's been torn down and thought of as second place for so long in other companies, and now he's here and he's the best.

Chris Jericho is in a state of elation not seen from him in years. He wanted to prove that he is the greatest of all time and he just secured ANOTHER world championship!
Excalibur
But he didn't do it alone, Tony. He had Powerhouse Hobbs and Sammy Guevara helping him here, we'll see how he fares in single combat against Jay Lethal at All Out.

Review: Just getting caught up on this love the winner of first women battle royal perfect choice in Nyla who is incredibly underrated as per irl. I think you already are booking the woman better than AEW has done. I love the idea of Jurassic Express vs. Nightmare Family as Cody & Dustin giving a shine to Jungle Boy & Luchasarus is very important to early days of AEW.
Darby vs. Shawn Spears is fine though I rather see Shawn pushed early on and I got feeling and right move Darby goes over. Love MJF/Pillman Jr. Love pillman Jr and I think a feud like this early on in AEW brings up the personal blood feuds that the likes of Cody/Dustin, Cody/MJF, Mox/Jericho gave the company credit for at the start of it so kudos there.
Jericho was right winner got nothing wrong there once again big enough name to hold belt give it to prestige curious how long u get him to hold it.
