For a Joshi lover like me seeing this Match on a major PPV this is big in my eyes. Rarely do Teacher vs Student Matches happen enough i Wrestling especially on a PPV in Joshi too woof.

AEW definitely need to sort out their programming better. Riho and Sakura is probably the most storied match on this card and yet it wasn't announced until last Wednesday and none of their history has been covered until... like... just now. They have to get better at building these matches and not depending on fans just being in the know.

I had no idea this match was happening nor why it is or why it's on PPV.

I agree the fans really didn't get into the Match till later, and I would say Emi should of worked more Heel like tactics into the Match. Still a good win for her with the Kuru Kuru Ribbon pin, but we will see how long she stays as AEW Women's Champion going forward. Shanna or Shida I would to see as new Champs if Nyla doesn't win it before them.
