If Cole is too hurt to be able to do whatever pay off they were originally thinking about doing, I hope they just still continue to do these skits in the interim. I would normally be pretty meh on nick winning a singles opportunity, but I’ll give this one a pass as there’s history with Fenix. But, it does make me raise my eyebrows a little bit considering they also won the ROH six man straps and an AEW tag team title opportunity in the last two weeks.

On the positive side, this proves my point though that Santana can continue his tag team while also getting singles opportunities as Nick is going to have a future International Title shot and an AEW tag team opportunity in his back pockets.
