Also, is it just me or weren’t the elite doing this whole takeover, fixing AEW, beating up the entire roster schtick like two months ago and now they’ve been quietly removed from that angle and the former combat club has basically been slotted right into the exact same role?

It’s almost like the elite just staring at the chaos unfold without knowing what they should be doing right now feels like they just handed them the baton and said we’re out of this angle now.
