Because he's still mentioning Jay Briscoe and only Jay Briscoe when talking about former ROH champions he's honoring so they're still very clearly doing the exact repeat of his first ROH title run where the person he beats just beats him back for the title at Final Battle. To such an extent that he's even wrestling Tomohiro Ishii on the exact same week of Dynamite in the exact same city as he did during his first run.

Let just hope this time it results in a TV deal or we try again in two years.

Very good brackets imo and that's with some huge names I wanted in missing: Hangman, Takeshita, Strong (seen a lot of bitching on twitter cause people fantasy booked different entrants).

Everyone announced can go and we have some very fun unique matches. I'm hyped guys. I feel it will likely be Ospreay vs Kyle or Okada in the final

I can't say shit about last week's segment bc it was hilarious and awesome but the first promo Jericho cut on Ishii was also the identical "he was my young boy in WAR" that he did two years ago too lol he just added the washing his back in the shower line bc his character is more comedy now

Takeshita: SHOULD NOT LOSE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ATM, therefor, prob best he just racks up wins elsewhere while Rico can get his mojo back in the c2

hanger : in the main event scene and very busy atm - i rather him continue his story

Strong: would have been dope but he's also part of the cole mjf story vortex and none of them arei n the c2 so it makes sense to not be there

no Switchblade: a GOOD thing because he is also the next title challenger clearly, and he needs that way more after the bungled mjf program ppl didnt like

Yes and they keep bringing up Jay so much that at this point it's gonna be annoying if Mark doesn't even win back so its actually lose/lose booking

yeah im with you making the continental classic a briefcase or trophy would be better

but i was mostly vehemently against the unification of titles cuz to me that never made any logical sense with what the CC represents

With the February Grand Slam show, it would make perfect sense to establish someone as the contender for that one. It should be the rights to challenge at a major show at least, otherwise it's kinda funny how easy people can earn random TV title matches (which is fine) but someone went through this death tournament just to also get one.
