I mean... I do like Brian Cage a lot as well.
But I also get it why people wouldn't.
He’s awesome (imo) lol
He’s big he looks awesome. His work is tight. He’s got big moves. He’s also gotta cruiseweight moves like the only thing he can’t do is cut a promo.
I think the heat is there with swerve. It would just be a good program, but the main objective though would be that swerve would look like a million bucks defeating this big monster. Definitely don’t think swerve should go over.
Definitely don’t think Cage should go over. Swerve would win.
I’m not saying he’s bad but main event in AEW level?
Not permanently, but just one program because he’s got history and heat with the champion sure.
I'd say it depends. It doesn't have to be a PPV Main Event, but they could still do a short program with a high profile Dynamite Main Event between the two, for example.
But Cage loses all the time
Really wouldn’t do a ton for Swerve to beat him.
Cage needs to string together wins over other top names. Like if he’d of won over Claudio I’d say he’d be on his way
If I had the book I would treat Brian Cage similarly to how the WWF treated Kane in the attitude era. Someone that was mostly mid Card, but occasionally when the program called for you could slide into a main event like a month and then you slide him back out
With the focus not really being on Swerve as much anyways it wouldn't hurt

I mean, I can’t argue with him losing all the time but that’s also one of those things where I don’t think he should lose as much as he does. That being said they just had him beat up swerve for like five straight minutes. That alone would be enough to cook and especially because they’re not gonna go straight into it. I’m assuming they’re gonna do more stuff.
I do agree though from here until they do kick off a program which like I said, I would pause it while he’s doing the thing with Christian cage and rack up some big wins.
I don't know. Them putting on a 15-minute long, hard hitting banger surely wouldn't desecrate Swerve's run.
When you got it, someone that looks like Brian Cage it really doesn’t take much to build them back up in the eyes of the fans. This would happen all the time with like big show and abyss. They go on losing streaks and then when the program called for they look like absolute monsters and be fed to the top baby face.
