There were two dark matches before Dynamite, the first was JAS vs Dark Order w/ Brodie Jr. There was a fun spot where Brodie Jr takes Hager’s hat and runs off with it and Hager chases him up the ramp.

The second match was Skye Blue vs Christina Von Eerie, which was pretty good too.

Two things... First, did you even had to announce that CM Punk will be at Collision, when the show is in Chicago? Pulling a WWE here with that as well, even if it was pretty obvious that it'll happen. :punklol

Second... kinda bad move to say Shibata gonna defend the ROH Pure Title on Rampage, when the Title match between him and Coughlin gonna be broadcasted tonight and they didn't even mention something like "Should he still be champion" or something similar. Reminds me of the old times where WWF or WCW fucked themselves over with what they taped and then forgot or didn't keep in mind for future episodes.

On another note... I think I was a bit "turn-happy" today. First I thought Sting would fuck OC up with the bat, when OC turned his back to him and Sting was pacing around... and a little bit later I thought Jungle Boy would all of a sudden turn against Hook. :lol I'm kinda happy neither happened... although Heel Sting maybe trying to pull Darby into that path in the upcoming weeks... that could be intriguing. ...even though it doesn't make sense, of course. :hmm:

those are fair points on your two first comments. I didnt mind the punk thing as i think its both to sell more tickets and to mb gauge reaction, but a surprise is obviously better moment wise, no argument. I have to argument against the shibata match tho, outside of well we get more shibata

I don't have anything against them announcing Shibata being there, I just have something against them forgetting that the ROH Pure Title match against Coughlin wasn't broadcasted yet and they didn't even mention it. They do so much cross-promoting with ROH and AEW that it seemed like a huge oversight on their part.

It's just nitpicky, of course. Other than that they delivered the good shit as (usually) always. ...and thank god for the San Diego crowd. Takeshita immediate Number Two heel of the company behind Callis. :lol

They could've also just mentioned that there was still that Title match to come... or make it "Either Coughlin or Shibata vs." or something. I know not all AEW fans watch ROH, but it's just a weird continuity error that, like I said, immediately reminds me of those old WWF/WCW fuck ups with their taped shows. :lol
