Okay some notes from this week episode, just started watching again.
- Jake Roberts still has great charisma, Lance Archer has a cool look.
- Cody driving his truck into the barrier LMAO wtf. I will say Cody really has gained a lot of charisma, and I love the way he carries himself.
- Jake giving commentary as they fight was awesome.
- Jurassic Express vs Best Friends - Really solid match, and I didn't mind the chaos at the end. This was a good way to have a match build into a wild ending.
- Britt Baker vs Hikaru Shida vs Penelope Ford vs Kris Statlander - I didn't mind this match. A bit sloppy, but what do you expect with a 4-way? I actually was pretty impressed with all of them. I really liked a lot of stuff Statlander was doing. Shida was also a standout. Baker and Ford also brought it.
- Santa & Ortiz vs Matt Hardy & Kenny Omega - It warms my heart to see Matt Hardy having time to show what he still has. Really loved this match, all four guys brought it.
- Taz/Darby interview - very quick segment. Cool to see Taz around again.
- Lexy/Shida interview - Nyla Rose interupts and hits Shida with the kendo stick. This was really quick, and served it's purpose.
- MJF vs Lee Johnson - Squash match, MJF oozes charisma, love his mic work.
- Chris Jericho vs Shoog D - Sammy Guevera is hilarious to me. Poor Pineapple Pete got squashed. Jericho is still gold on the mic. I really enjoyed this segment. RIP vanguard 1.
- Christopher Daniels vs Brodie Lee - Brodie Lee is slow moving to me. The match wasn't bad, but I wasn't too interested in Lee's work. Maybe I'm being too tough on him. Overall it was a decent match.
- Moxley coming out was cool, I like his look a lot more in AEW than WWE.
I haven't watched AEW in awhile so these are just random thoughts, I might seem a bit too positive haha.
