You should watch some of his AEW matches. He has had great ones with Brodie Lee, MJF, Darby Allin, Kenny Omega. Mox being shit in the ring is a myth. Heck his NJPW matches have mostly been great too.
I respect everyone everyone's opinions, but I haven't been impressed with Moxbrose is a long time.

Dean ambrose didn't even like dean ambrose lol

I liked Dean Ambrose in the Shield. It hid his weaknesses.

But I also liked Jon Moxley pre-Shield (but even then I don't think I'd want him to headline). I've just not liked anything since the Shield breakup.

I will say he's allowed to be more hardcore. The lights out match with Jericho was entertaining at the very least.

My point was more moxley hated being dean ambrose and tbh him in aew isn't the same character. There are similarities but he is a lot different and cooler outside of wwe. The wacky stuff got way too much and it is clear in hindsight he hated it.

Plus his matches are better but that might be down to wwe making wrestlers often wrestle the same match for the most part. His match with ishii for example was one of my favs last year. But his darby match this year was great and fantastic storytelling putting both characters over. You are entitled to your opinion but i massively disagree with people saying he is a shit wrestler.

I wouldn't say shit wrestler. I'm just not entertained and I don't think he's the best offering a company could present as their top guy.

I'd say Mox is edgier and maybe less repetitive, but for me he's still not shed the template that is Dean Ambrose.

Before the WWE he was way different than either the WWE or AEW incarnations.

Tbf the pre wwe Moxley doesn't work as a good guy. I would say as a second champion he is good. I'm pretty sure he loses to Omega at full gear and then we get hangman page and MJF as the next champions.

To contribute however:

While I don't mind Moxley, he hasn't really done it for me as champ. His pre-recorded promos are ass and his matches have been mediocre at best, in my opinion. He's been ok, imo. He's certainly no DEMO GOD. and I'm a HUGE AEW mark :heston

I'll take him as a secondary champion, but not right away. Let Brodie run with it a bit.

Moxley should stay in the world title picture tbh though shouldn't won it again for years after this run. Keep him as a main eventer and have blood feuds putting people over. Brodie Lee should get a long reign and lose to someone like jungle boy imo
