Wednesday's AEW Dynamite
averaged 979,000 viewers on TBS, down 4.3 percent from the previous week's Blood & Guts episode. It's still the second-highest viewership number for the show since April 6..
Dynamite topped the cable charts with a 0.36 rating in the 18-49 demo. That's the same rating as the show drew last week, and it matches Dynamite's best demo number since April 20.
This is the third straight week that Dynamite has topped the Wednesday cable charts in the 18-49 demo.
Dynamite's biggest increase was with females 12-34, which were up 47.1 percent from last week to a 0.25 rating. Dynamite actually had a higher rating with females in that age group than males, which has never happened before. It's Dynamite's highest rating with females 12-34 since the premiere episode of the show in October 2019.
If Dynamite wasn't down with older viewers, it may have finished at the overall level of last week's show. People 25-54 were down 10.9 percent from last week and people over 50 were down 9.5 percent.
As compared to the same week in 2021, Dynamite's overall viewership was up 12.4 percent and its 18-49 rating was up 12.5 percent.
