as a side note, i was excited for mercedes to maybe come in but I'm weirdly content she didn't. not out of any dislike for her but I kind of like it didnt suck all the air out of a women's feud that im interested in. not sure how else to explain it

The trios match was good, the women's match was alright, but I am still in shock over that Daniel and Konosuke match, even went back and watched it again

unless they exactly did your idea of AEW originals vs former WWE stars, it would have been awkward tbh. I mean not the original pop and debut, that would have been great, but the follow up

yeah exactly and then also means that jamie and britt lose. which is not optimal atm

I do like the idea of a short Britt face turn with Jamie before turning on her to establish Jamie as the babyface of the division tho

like sure Britt can take another pin but unless it leads to exactly Mercedes vs Hayter, then why. also do you really want hayter mercedes that quickly if she comes in? and who loses

yup. thats been my pivot idea too since the shida angle was teased. I dont think shida is turning full heel, i think britt and hayter are turning face and toni/saraya turning heel. which tbh is prob better long term

I would only have accepted it if Mercedes turned on Saraya right away. I'm so over Saraya at this point. But yes, I'm glad (at least for the time being) Mercedes didn't come to AEW. I don't dislike her at all. But I feel like the division is the hottest it's been and just need to grow what they have right now.

Not only that, but they really need to figure out what the heck they're doing with Jade and the streak. I like Statlander a lot, but I just don't know if her being the one to end the streak is the right move when she comes back, but to me that's like the "best option".
