Wednesday night's Homecoming episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 797,000 viewers on TBS, down 0.5 percent from last week. It's the second-lowest audience total for the show since October 25.
Dynamite drew a 0.29 rating in the 18-49 demo. That's up 11.5 percent from last week and ties the third-highest rating the show has done since the October 18 episode.
Once again, Dynamite
opened very strong with over a million viewers in the opening quarter but by the end of the show had dropped to 636,000 for the main event featuring Sting & Darby Allin vs. Konosuke Takeshita & Powerhouse Hobbs. The 18-49 rating started at 0.33 and fell to 0.21 by the last quarter, although the five-minute overrun was up from the final quarter in both overall audience and 18-49.
As compared to the same week in 2023, Dynamite's overall viewership was down 17.6 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 12.1 percent.
