I’m curious to see the rating for this show. A very solid card. I know New York is going to go crazy when The Acclaimed take the titles.

I feel like I must've missed something along the lines for the ROH set-up. It would feel odd having Jericho lose another championship match so soon but given that all of Claudio's defences have been against randoms on Rampage, it would really hurt him to lose the belt so soon. I figure this must have something to do with the build towards Jericho and Garcia, possibly? Also, would really add a notch to Claudio's belt to have a win over him and a 'legitimate' defence.

The women's booking continues to get lost in the Bermuda Triangle. We've gone from tag team matches to fatal four ways. The rankings system feels completely pointless when it essentially becomes a free for all for everyone.

I like that Acclaimed/SIOG artwork though. I wonder if this is just for Grand Slam or wherever they're updating their overall presentation.

The build kinda started by a throwaway line a couple weeks ago during an ROH title match where Jericho mentioned never winning it on commentary (dubbed in later too I think)

But yeah its a bit random, relates to the BCC/JAS feud still tho. My interpretation is Jericho sees he's losing Garcia and sees winning the ROH title as a way to win him back

Ive learned my lesson on Bad Bunny, though I had no idea he had a song about Booker T and people had used that as the reason. But yeah, much a better attitude to just be happy for the ppl who like said artists

I just remember being so flabbergasted bc I'd heard about the dude so much for years but then I realized it's bc of how much I'm exposed to Latin culture lol like I wasn't even trying to defend that he was a good celebrity to use at the time, just that he was a popular one lmao but yeah his first appearance was doing the Booker T song (which was really bad actually) and then he started appearing on Raw after bc his Miz feud started that night

I'd also say anyone late 20s and def in their 30s should probably not expect to know pop culture crossovers lol not sure when that really starts but I'm seeing it myself already at 26
