Adam Cole is brilliant at subverting the questions of the storyline where he’s the baby face by just providing every example of when MJF would turn on a friend first and Adam just simply beat him to the punch this time. Great storytelling.

I also love how he mentions Wardlow as one of MJF’s previous victims with no personal connection whatsoever like he’s talking about an outside party and not someone that’s supposed to be in the group. I wonder if this is just a subtle way of saying that he’s been quietly removed from the undisputed kingdom and I’m kind of hoping that’s the case because he does not fit in with this group and we don’t need a storyline reason for him to leave when he comes back.

That being said, I would not hate it if Wardlow came back as a heel since he technically hasn’t become a baby face with the rest of the group yet and realigned with MJF.
