I could say the same thing about AZM the past few Years too. I saw she won the Trios Tag Titles but till AZM wins a Singles Title in Stardom I won't put myself through that heartache any further.

I just wish they'd stop throwing the "MJF is an insecure shit, who wants the fans to love him" in every goddamn time. It comes up in every feud at least once as a focal point for (at least one) segment. ...and it's like, yea, it's part of his character background, but we all fuckin' know by now that it is.

...plus it's grating to see them bringing it in during any feud he's having, when we saw last year how over he was as a face. "The fans actually don't respect or like you!" just doesn't hit the same anymore, as it did a year ago.

I partially agree with that. It falls a little flat when we've literally seen the fans actually accept MJF. I think in this case it's a good thing tho bc it's just better quality than past times he's been presented with that idea, essentially hangman is just a better promo is why it's working now so far

That's fair. Halfway through the segment I just shut off my brain the moment they brought it, once again, to that point. I still like the way MJF's reacting to it, tbf. Those small outbursts are still a good, small spoon of flavor.

Tbh it wouldn’t work without it being Hangman because he’s just so good and it’s fitting that they are playing up the Main Character arc of Hangman and how MJF would naturally be jealous of that cuz he wants to be the main character so bad
