Cody can use a loss, you can find a way to still have Darby vs Cody, and now BBB look like chumps.

Gonna say it: AEW has too many big names. No one can afford to lose, and even when someone can afford to lose, they don't.

Ehhh I don't think that's as much of a problem. You just had BBB make a debut recently that no one really liked and now you have them lose. They're now on the very bottom of the totem pole especially when Dark Order is becoming bigger and bigger through Vignettes and BBB has the same type of style.

And you don't give the win from BBB to an established Tag-TEam to help build up the Tag Division, you have it towards 2 singles competitors who don't care about BBB anyway.

BBB if booked correctly could be such a great dominant team. I love their look. Darby and especially Cody are already over enough that they can take a loss. BBB NEEDED it to help establish them as a threat.

Plus if BBB are a threat they can be used effectively in the MJF/Cody story.
