What’s hilarious is I still see trolls acting like only doing 7500 tickets is somehow not impressive but it’s such bullshit when you consider the fact that AEW’s entire existence is due to Dave Meltzer not even believing that any company that wasn’t WWE would be able to do 10,000 seat Shows and this isn’t even a special all in type event. This is a regular Wednesday television show and did almost 8000 tickets.

This just dawned on me, but I didn’t even realize when MJF first dropped the belt that he was hurt, but I think that also affected how Tony resolved the Devil storyline. Cole getting hurt made him have to elongate the angle I think and then MJF getting hurt had the opposite effect. Having to pay it off immediately. So I think peeps should think about that before labeling the whole thing the worst angle of 2023, imo.
