I think they'll both be "heelish" towards each other but the crowd will most likely side with Britt so she should be booked as such

aew is def. big on the "cheer for who you want" when it comes to bigger stars feuding. maybe to a fault at times but in this case i think it will be really good

I think sometimes they just need to pivot to it better when they do these feuds. Like just have whoever's cheered squash heels instead of babyfaces would go a long way. That feels like a hard ask though lol we halfway got it with Toni/Serena bc Toni started fighting heels but Serena was too

I do think they get gunshy about heel and face turns at times - it adds intrigue but the downside is it confuses the more casual watcher as to who is who. I personally like a lot of shades of grey, but I do think they at times could maybe tighten it up and give us some clear good guys and a few less cool heels

Yeah and I don't think simply switching the lower card person would affect much if that's the match we're getting that week anyway

i think that the fans gonna turn quickly on Mone seems like at FD they weren't really that invested in her winning anyway. I say this as not her biggest fan tho.

for sure, and while shades are good I do think the criticism of AEW lacking a protagonist and antagonist is fair

Another thing I'm curious about is what's next for Swerve, I'm assuming he goes into Blood and Guts build with the Elite to tie him up until the Owen finishes and they build that match. Hangman also will be involved in some way even if he's not the wildcard

they were in NY and she's from Boston so that is part of it - but I still agree with you and most ppl do too, they want her to be a heel because thats her best work. the only downside there is she is such a fucking good seller that her babyface in peril in ring work in phenomenal to the point ppl think she had a bad match because she helped make Vaquer look so good (she is really good too not taking it away, just takes 2 to tango)

give him a small feud in between maybe a Lance Archer or a midcard guy like that maybe a returning Miro (i don't even know if hes still with AEW)

Id say all roads lead to hangman, whether that is at all in or not I do not know. it's hard because I want to cope and hangman not be the wildcard....because I want Danielson to win the fucking belt lol.

I do think you COULD do something interesting with hangman. goad swerve into defending before wembley and have hanger shock win . then u have hangman danielson 2 at all in, proper good vs bad. but its cope. hanger vs swerve obviously the biggest match they can do for the world title at wembley if i take my fan hat off

def a better heel but, I do think the crowd def gets behind homegrown talent from d1 DMD in the feud.
