I know about 100% of everyone will disagree with me on this, but what was the point of the Mox and Punk match last week. AEW prides itself on being a company where wins and loses matter, but if that matters so much then why even have the match last week when you knew you were going to do Punk v Mox at All Out. AEW could have just saved that match for the PPV and everything would be normal, for a lack of a better term. If the only reason for Punk's lose last week to Mox was just so he could out in Chicago and be all like "I am going to retire" only for Ace Steel to come out and be like "Nah, bruh" and then a fired up Punk is all like "Fuck yeah, I will beat mox in chicago". Then what was the point of the match in Cleveland.
And I am saying all of this with no bias before anyone brings that up because I think they did with the acclaimed and gun club was just a dumb, not the two getting together but the whole get together then turn then turn again. My other complaint is one I know I will get told to "shut up on" or whatever you want to say, but AEW matches have become very predictable. We know Punk is winning over Mox, we know The Eltie will be the Trios champions, and we know Jericho is winning, though honestly, I could see this one going either way, but Jericho is more favored. I do get the argument of "yeah it is predictable, but the match itself is worth the watch." and I do get. Just that i my head knowing the outcome of the match the match in itself begins dull, for a lack of a better term.
So yeah, after rampage and All Out, i will be pretty much done with AEW (so be happy jeff. it means you wont see me around lol)
