Just dropped back into dynamite last week because of Punk shenanigans and seeing what was up, got super hyped for Mox vs Punk and thought the match deflated the whole feud, awful booking.

And I saw it on Twitter and I am so just confused by it. I hope it leads to something good, but why? Is Punk still injured? What is going on?

My problem is I don’t think it really furthers anything other than setting up a rematch (which could have happened anyway). It doesn’t make mox look like a beast to pin someone that was down injured, and it doesn’t really give Punk a reason to be mad and turn heel or whatever. Like if you’re gonna do a squash then do a squash, have Mox look like a badass and beat him clean, which gives punk some real motivation to be more ruthless or whatever. Or half a good match with a dusty finish to further the angle. I don’t think this really did anything other than suck the momentum out of the feud. It was half ass
