This is probably a silly concern but I'm actually worried about how that affects Taz's dynamic on commentary lol he had history with Joe and then Hobbs when he joined so it was so natural for him to pull for the opps even without Hook being with them lol how does he decide if they fight

Like imagine if they did Bodies, Down With The Sickness, Freak On a Leash, and more late 90s/early 2000s metal that would have been awesome. It reminds me of New Jack. Which gien the violence of Anarchy it makes sense.

It's gotten so much better as far as the actual booking goes the last few years but the IWC's instant mindset is always "okay when's the turn" as soon as the slightest tension is shown in a group despite that not even being true anymore lol it's so annoying, was even more annoying when it was the actual booking too tho

I'm not so sure about that Hook moment. I'm not looking forward to them possibly going in a direction, where Hook splits from the Opps. Feels like it's way too early for that.

I get his anger. They replaced him with Hobbs then won. Also if I recall has HOOK never won a championship in AEW (FTW was not sanctioned). Also don't know how much longer he's signed for.

yeah and it seems the turn always happens in wwe and in aew most of the time they stay friends outside a few occasions. thats the perceptiojn i have. like to me aew could use more actual turns and tropes and wwe less

At this point AEW has developed their own tropes too, but that stuff always goes through cycles, basically booking fads. The past few years has been restarted by the house of torture (they didn't invent it)

The funny aew one rn for me bc MJF did it last night too is the guy conflicted when someone offers them a foreign object to use lol

And it's not like that's exclusive to AEW, it's been a thing for decades but Tony goes through stages of it a lot. It's probably a spot that stuck with him as a kid, that one for me would be the face gets the hot tag but ref didn't see it bc for a short time in WWE they did that a lot but I was like 8 so it's just engrained in my mind lol
