AEW Dark to be filmed in studio going forward

I never got why they had the Dark part of Elevation's name in the first place unless they just want that to be your indicator that it's a YouTube show

I love the idea of an AEW studio show. And if they use Universal, the AEW is current day TNA theory will finally be concrete.

That said, might need to change the name to Elevation and drop Dark since they won't be dark matches and honestly Elevation sounds good by itself.

yeah keep elevation as it still makes sense as a pre-show anyways. changing the name of dar kisnt a bad idea, wouldnt mind a rebrand

Meltzer has confirmed that report about Universal btw. Pretty sure Andrew Zarian has a better track record than him anyway tho, he just reports less lol

Love that it's going to be at Universal. It's a good hour closer than Jacksonville. I love going to Dailys place but boy do I hate that long drive home.

Being close to wrestling is the only perk of living in Florida btw.

I don't know. I wouldn't mind if they did Dark and Elevation at Daly's Place.

I think Dark and Elevation should have different "atmospheres" too. Elevation can be more a family product where the ticket prices are cheap and the content is more PG for families. Dark could be more "adult" oriented. idk. Just spitballing.

Smart. It gives each show a bit of a different feel. Dynamite being your main show, Rampage as an "action hour," then you can use Dark as a way to highlight free agents and newer starts and Elevation as a middle ground.

I still think Elevation should be a Sunday afternoon show and should have a different look and feel too. Try to get local college kids in there with cheap tickets and start some goofy fan section traditions or something, idk.
