AEW Dark to be filmed in studio going forward

WON: AEW is set to start doing studio tapings for 'AEW Dark'

Due to Rampage also being taped on Wednesdays, following Dynamite, they've decided to start taping Dark separately.

unsure if they will do the same with with elevation but it would also give it a different look which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I saw one comment that said Full Sail was available

From what I've seen he wants to do Elevation before Dynamite and Rampage after on most weeks. I could see them doing Dark outside of the studio on Live Rampage weeks too like they have been so far

That makes perfect sense. 7-8pm elevation dynamite then rampage sounds like a fun ass show to go to

As much as I dislike AEW, I will say with them filming Dark in a studio as well as some other promotions doing it. It is really beginning to some what feel like what NWA/AWA and all did, which is kind of cool.

I think it'd be cool if they upgraded the nightmare factory setup and filmed there tbh, give that more of a spotlight (or nepotism as some would say)

Smart. It gives each show a bit of a different feel. Dynamite being your main show, Rampage as an "action hour," then you can use Dark as a way to highlight free agents and newer starts and Elevation as a middle ground.

Since going back on the road Elevation and Dark have reminded me of the traditional B or C wrestling show such as Sunday night heat and I've been enjoying it, would be great to keep Elevation like that and Dark to be more like it was during the pandemic (not as long maybe tho)

agreed. its a lot more digestible in a one hour format (even if they did have like 3 elvations/dark in one week last week lol)

I love the idea of an AEW studio show. And if they use Universal, the AEW is current day TNA theory will finally be concrete.

That said, might need to change the name to Elevation and drop Dark since they won't be dark matches and honestly Elevation sounds good by itself.
