An AEW halloween special without Abadon feels like ordering a McDonalds Happy Meal without a toy. But the prospect of Martin/Cutler, Blue/Hogan, & Dahausen in general just about makes up for it.
Culter vs Martin was everything it needed to be - Cutler nearly buffooning himself to victory and Martin telling gravity to stick it.
Janai Kai's got a neat Mortal Kombat look to her. Seems to know hat she's doing, wouldn't be opposed to bringing her back for another few rounds. Athena regularly murdering her opponents enough for the twitter heads to get in a stir is a good way to rehab her.
Speaking of murdering opponents on Dark, her & Eddie Kingston should be a duo based entirely on their shared attitude of 'I'm going to kill this dude and the bell ringing ain't gonna stop me, lol.'
Best Friends trios felt like a classic Best Friends match in the best way.

Danhausen losing is ick. Was curious to see how they'd play out the Lee Johnson heel turn, kinda suspected it would go like this and not too surprised with it. Turning heel on Danhausen is a good way to really turn people against you, so I guess it works. As long as he's not just another numerous member of The Factory and there's a plan for this.
Solid Elevation, could do with some Abadon but oh well.
