I really like how AEW is handling the Dark Order, they already got their comedy stuff over on BTE so the slow face turn is working but I especially like that the announcers aren't harping over and over about "But where does the Dark Order go from here?" they're just going lmao

It's filmed after Dynamite, so they just fit in a ton of people on it bc there's no real time limit for how long it lasts. Last week it was only an hour and a half, most weeks it's two hours, been close to 3 hours as well though. It's pretty much just an exhibition show, angles are furthered only by the wrestlers themselves mostly but it's a fun show to put on if you're not expecting much and the commentary is hilarious.

That's actually a pretty good comparison, before Russo came in Thunder was just a bunch of random matches with people that didn't make Nitro just like this is. Match quality about the same too outside of the gems with guys like Fenix and such. The only thing that makes Dark better for me is they let the jobbers have more character stuff in the short matches instead of just your typical squashes.
